Every one of his highlights are 3 point shots. Some of them were really deep 3 point shots. He also battled some injuries and sounds like a good kid, possibly a leader. He'd be great to have on the team.
I watched a couple of Bama games and he is definitely a guy who wants the ball down the stretch and seemed like he wanted to get good shots on crucial possessions. Just seemed poised in the Auburn game when they came back from being down a lot early. Would be an awesome transfer for this team.
Great post. This was an issue last year. No one wanted the ball in crunch time. Run the clock to :01 and throw up a shot.

He’s from the 2018 class.
24 years old, turning 25 in November. Older than Franz Wagner, Jordan Poole, & Ignas Brazdeikis.
Is that important?
I see it as a positive when it comes to portal guys...those guys seem to be more mature and ready to play team basketball.

So the title really didn't say it all.
I doubt if even 50% of the posts claiming "the title says it all" have a title that indeed did say it all.

I hate that the basketball program has come to this. A posting of what seems like every portal prospect most of whom I never heard of.
He's a former 5* recruit who played for one of the top ranked teams last season. He's not some obscure player we shouldn't have heard of.
Some people follow basketball more than others. In fact, I purport to enjoy the college bball game, but I had no idea who this kid was. It should not be an indictment of bad fanhood to not know who a point guard is for Alabama basketball, or that he was a 5* FIVE years ago.
The poster made the point he wasn’t some obscure player. By not following college basketball it doesn’t give you some magic to call out people for posting about important transfers. Some of us actually follow the sport.
Michigan needs guard play. They have two open scholarships.
I'm not sure what experts would say but I would think he would be a higher ranked transfer than Caleb Love, other than only having one year and Love having 2 available.
He's been consistently good on a good team and has the same pedigree as Love.
Love is higher ranked and it's not close. Love still has NBA potential (although he has yet to come close to it)
Quinerly isn't ranked yet as a transfer so I'm not sure how you know it's not close. But I don't think Quinerly will be too far behind if he is. He's the SEC 6th man of the year, shoots 35% from 3, and has a 33% assist rate. Also has some intangibles that Love doesn't.

He would be a good get for the 2. He didn't play as well this year or last year, but he's a decent shooter and was good from 2 prior to last year. I think he has good upside to be a solid scorer on offense.
He played well when he started last year. 13 ppg on .433 overall and .400 from 3. Just 6 games but still

Saying anything negative about Michigan is frowned upon it seems. If you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything wrong - because the truth is just to hard to handle.
Michigan fans back in my day had much tougher skin. 70’s and 80’s.
Living in Alabama and getting to watch the majority of their games I can assure you this dude is not a good prospect for us unless we’re desperate - oh wait.
Burnett was pretty underwhelming as well in T- Town. Never matched the hype coming out of HS nor was he much of a contributor.
Alabama has a great coach and Burnett and Quinerly were hardly on the radar.
Quinerly was the co-6th Man of the Year in the SEC (with erstwhile transfer target Antonio Reeves). Did he live up to the hype of his recruiting ranking? No. Was he off the radar in Alabama? Only if your radar is broken, which apparently yours is.
Will Quinerly transfer here? I suspect not, but I’ll keep my hopes up a day into his portal experience.
