Assistant Coach Rumor Compilation Thread
Aside from recruiting, this will probably be the boards biggest obsession going forward and I have found it difficult to keep track of everything floating around. What I have seen the board and in other articles is below. One thing to note is that obviously Offense is Harbaugh's side of the ball, so I'm sure he will have signficant input there and may likely be the play-caller too, so the coaches he brings in may be more geared towards other aspects of coaching perhaps.
OC: Wheatley (Bills RB Coach), Andy Moeller (Browns OL Coach)
Other Offensive Coaches: Vince Marrow (Kentucky TE Coach), Reggie Davis (49er OL Coach, NFL TE), John Morton (49er WR Coach), Ronald Curry (49er Off Asst)
DC: DJ Durkin (ex-DC of florida), Mattison, Lance Anderson (DC at stanford)
Interesting notes about Mattison. Durkin was his Graduate Assistant at Notre Dame; Mattison worked under Jack Harbaugh and with John Harbaugh with the Ravens. Also, he served as a co-dc with Charlie Strong so he has done it before. I'm pretty sold that he is on board for the year - at least.
I'm sure there is a bunch more out there that can help fill the void left by the hopefully foregone conclusion of Harbaugh's arrival.

What do either of those things have to do with him being a good coach? He was a GA for Hoke/Nussmeier, so I'm pretty sure he doesn't only have to coach spread teams.
And I agree Marrow is the better option (look above).

He's not coming or under consideration.
And he hasn't been that great since he left Michgan anyway...

No. Renovations are expensive, and the climate isn't right to spend more money on the stadium at this point. Also, suites DECREASE the seating in those areas, not increase it. Larger footprint for fewer seats.

Will the new ST coach run the spread punt? And can he count to 11? That's all I care about.
