Any info on bowl practices or team travel?

Does anyone have any insight on bowl practices?

How many have we had (if any)? When do we head down to Orlando? Where will be practicing in Orlando?

Haven't heard much of anything related to prep leading into the Citrus Bowl. There was a rumor about a position switch. But nothing on any of the young guys that are shining or even what uniforms we'll be wearing (WolverineDevotee).

Commence the snark.

Also curious to know when Draft evals are returned because there's a rumor going around that Michigan could get some good news on the WR front. Like VERY good news. Maybe even 2x good news.

...But a long way to go.

That would be a good Xmas gift. Team typically leaves the day after Xmas for New Years day games, and I've heard they have been practicing at a very high clip. Don't know how reliable, but I heard they will be utilizing the slots more. Sainristil and Jackson have been running with the Ones, and Bell has been playing outside.

George Johnson moved to CB. We are a few practices into the bowl prep.

Alabama has practiced 5 times as of yesterday. Three of which were indoors. Early Enrollees getting their conditioning in before putting on the full pads. Two defeneders sitting out for them. Scooby Carter entered the transfer portal and has not practiced. A huge DB that will make an impact elsewhere.

You're welcome, board.

Thanks UMBig11 and Happy Holidays!

George Johnson makes sense especially if Collins and DPJ come back. If that's the case then Cornelius Johnson slides right in at Black's spot like he'll do for the bowl game and we return everyone and add AJ Henning into the mix. Not to mention Roman Wilson and our two hybrid RB/Slot guys.

And "yes please" on 1-2 DTs to go along with Kemp who is coming back. Is Dwumfour?

Please Santa, bring back the 2 WRs, get us an impact DT transfer and turn George Johnson into freshman Lavert Hill or sophomore Ambry Thomas...serviceable. That's all I'm asking Santa.

Wait...and make Dylan McCaffrey the 2nd coming of Trevor Lawrence. Okay, now I'm done.

It kinda felt like George Johnson has been earmarked for the transition over to corner ever since the spring. I think Sainristril and Johnson were both taken as wr/dbs that had to win the offensive spot to keep it. The coaches have only taken one true corner so far this class..The coaches aren't oblivious to the roster needs and had the luxury of a six foot, 4.55 forty player to fill one.

They are focused on the gameplan. They respect the opponent and are putting an emphasis on executing the plays. Everyone looks good and the young guys are stepping up. The coaches are working hard to have them prepared.

Haven’t heard any practice reports. But there were some pictures posted on Zak Zinter’s twitter from practice. One with all the early enrollees standing in front of the team.

I will say, it has been a very silent bowl season compared to others recently. It doesn't seem like there is much, if anything, coming out of the team, the practices or Schembechler Hall as a whole. I will watch the game regardless, of course, but this thread made me think, "Wow, we haven't heard much at all, have we?"
