Good season Team 38 even though you came up a little short. I'm sorry but chins up it was a special year.

This hurts but be proud of yourselves. Go Blue.

This wasn't the ending I was expecting. Specially after yesterday's gem. Congrats on a great season. Nothing to hang your heads on.

Remember we had our chances. Just couldn't plate anybody. I will always wonder what could have been in Game 1. We very well could have ended this thing in a 2 game sweep. Apparently Florida's game plan was to be more aggressive by leaning into more pitches for Game 3. They know they couldn't get runners on base any other way against Wagner. Good season Blue! You deserve a ton of recognition and credit!

congrats to our girls on an amazing season.

But dammit, my sports life utterly blows.

We really could have beaten that team, but would've could've should've - we left a lot of plays out there.

Hope Blanco is one hell of a pitcher.

Feel for Wagner, she's a hell of a competitor.

And I hope even more fun next season.

Sad it had to end this way, though---our girls deserve better from the umps, who allowed the game to tilt heavily in Florida's favor because they didn't have the guts to enforce simple rules.

There's a reason for having a batter's box.

Florida played like they had been there which they had. It was a big advantage. We will be strong next year and take care of business.

Great season for this team.

I don't think we ever recovered from the mistake in the first inning.

Throwing to second instead of first set a terrible tone.

We just did nothing at the plate at all.

That's why the Game 1 blunder was so big.   Can't give away runs.

If your measure of failure is anything other than a national championship, then there sure are a lot of failures out there.  If every year you are the best person in America at whatever your job is, I tip my hat to you.

I thought they should have adopted the Florida strategy of getting hit by the pitches and having Smokey & Bubba make obviously horrible calls for them.

but I can't help but feel bad for Haylie Wagner...she definitely left it all on the field tonight.  Looks like they are going to be a great team again next year with Betsa returning.  Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of this year.

Go Blue!

and hope Betsa can raise her ceiling even higher.

Wagner had a really high ceiling and was so close to bringing us to the top of the mountain.

I want to watch the postgame to hear from Hutch and our players, but I just can't. I tried, I can't.

So besides Betsa, who else are we going to have for pitching next year? Just Blanco? Any chance that Driesenga can take some kind of medical redshirt and play one more season?
