Afternoon/Evening game thread
Since there wasnt one already .
Oregon is getting trucked by Georgia . They already look like world beaters . Maybe Oregon is just that bad, but I doubt it .
I wonder if tOsu will do that to Notre Dame tonight .
Arkansas and Cincy are close near the end of the 3rd q
Nebrasky is actually winning , but barely over FCS North Dakota Fighting Hawks .
What are you watching ?

Iowa with a whopping 166 total yards and a 7-3 victory over South Dakota State. I know Kinnick and all but damn we better beat that team. As long as Kirk keeps his son through our game I’m good.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:21 PM ^
Iowa won 7-3 without scoring a TD. Lmao.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:39 PM ^
Two safeties and a field goal! Sounds like scoring Brian predicts in his write ups.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:17 PM ^
Well, through a half anyway, I’m not sure it could have gone better if you’re a MI fan
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:18 PM ^
I assumed OSU would be up four touchdowns at this point in the game. So I’m an idiot, apparently. But one thing I do know, OSU could continue to underwhelm, win by a point and the media will still slobber all over them. Pick your poison.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:18 PM ^
I was looking at this game as a pure meteor event, but I actually find myself wanting ND to get it done. Bursting OSU's bubble in week 1 would be pretty funny.
Yeah, ND would get a lot of hype with a win, but I'm confident they'll take their lumps later.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:23 PM ^
I am starting to pull for ND. I know that it is better for us if OSU wins, but fuck it, I'm not mature enough to think strategically. I want to see angst and turmoil and massive existential self-doubt in Buckeye land.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:30 PM ^
If they lose tonight, that's probably the end of Day's honeymoon with the fanbase. That would be fun to take in.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:22 PM ^
Does Ryan day start the 2nd half with 3 straight runs?
I have a friend thats at the game. He just texted, The horseshoe is a very toxic place right now.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:24 PM ^
Isn't it always?
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:27 PM ^
yes, but when a die hard OSU fan calls it toxic. It makes my heart smile
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:28 PM ^
You win the internet today m1jjb00
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:30 PM ^
Aw shucks. I would like to thank my family, my parents and of course the Hollywood foreign press.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:27 PM ^
If enough Michigan fans travel to Cbus this year, we could sanitize the toilet bowl like the blue juice in sani cans
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:29 PM ^
A profound toilet analogy- I respectfully tip my cap
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:22 PM ^
Bryce Young has thrown for five touchdowns… in the first half. That’s a wow
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:33 PM ^
I wonder why Alabama isn’t saving plays for later.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:34 PM ^
When you know you are playing 15 games every year- you do whatever you want when you want
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:34 PM ^
Double post - three and out for osu. 😊
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:23 PM ^
ND has 29 yards more passing and a couple more yards rushing.
Herbstreit is right about OSU's receivers. Dumbest thing I heard on the preseason was that there was going to be no dropoff. Experience counts. I think it shows up in statistical analysis, no? Anyway, those guys could end up being better than the two mid first rounders, but it will take a while if it happens at all.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:26 PM ^
I popped in on Eleven Warriors. Things are nice and crispy. I imagine there will be a full meltdown if they ultimately lose. It's nice to see.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:30 PM ^
I can hear it now: "That fucker Harbaugh was right about Day."
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:31 PM ^
Ryan Day reminds me of Bernie Madoff. A huge fraud.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:32 PM ^
Despite the hype train so far OSU is an offensive juggernot.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:32 PM ^
How long till the pitch forks and torches start coming out with Ohio St fans?
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:33 PM ^
Couldn’t have more hate for both of these teams but man is this perfect! Great game and fun to watch. Pulling about 65% for ND. Would be a lot of fun to see OSU lose their first game of the season and also have 2 straight regular season losses. Damn!
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:34 PM ^
OSU’s offense is simple and relies on talent and speed is mostly finesse. If the D keeps it simple, mixes in zone, keeps everything in front of them and hits them in the mouth every play it can be stopped. Ryan Day teams do not like to be hit.
I have never seen an O-lineman on his butt as much as #55 for OSU
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:35 PM ^
ND defense forces a 3 and out to start the 2nd half. They’ve played great so far.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:35 PM ^
Stroud has the yips. He's a different guy under pressure.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:36 PM ^
Fuck Ohio.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:36 PM ^
CJ Stroud, and the mighty Ohio St offense, with 99 yards passing so far.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
poor Buckeyes, they seem cold or under the weather
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
I find Zach Harrison personal fouls to be remarkably gratifying
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
Olave and Wilson ain't walking through that door.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
Amazing what happens to their offense without Olave, Wilson and JSN catching every fucking thing. Henderson was ranked a top 10 player in the country right? He seems to have been bottled up.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
Three and out to start the second half. OSU's receivers look fairly well covered and Stroud doesn't look like he's getting a lot of pressure.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
This game has 2015 MSU written all over it, OSU just out of sort and cant get it going.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
3 & out and OSU right on schedule Ryan Day. LOL.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:39 PM ^
That shouldn't really be a flag, but I'll take it.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:39 PM ^
That's targeting on OSU.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:40 PM ^
Osu committing personal fouls like a desperate sparty team. Amazing
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:40 PM ^
If Day is an offensive genius I’m a rocket scientist.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:41 PM ^
Well-played
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:40 PM ^
LOL OSU
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:40 PM ^
I'm sure I'm in the minority, but could the bands just STFU for a few plays?
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:42 PM ^
Not the minority. I love bands playing it's part of what makes college football college football but they've played the same songs many times
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:42 PM ^
I will say, that is one positive of the stadium experience at the Shoe. Whenever I watch an OSU game, I hear lots of band. I love that because it’s unique to the college game. Michigan has WAY too much piped in music.
edit: and fuck them for using mr brightside. You would think that would be a song they’d despise.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:45 PM ^
I like the bands as well. But this is too much.
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:40 PM ^
Shocked no targeting review? Crown of the helmet straight into his face
September 3rd, 2022 at 9:41 PM ^
That was unnecessary roughness? The guy was running around. Why don't we get calls like that in Columbus. That QB is going to be wrecked if he keeps up like this.
