Since there wasnt one already .

Oregon is getting trucked by Georgia . They already look like world beaters . Maybe Oregon is just that bad, but I doubt it  .

I wonder if tOsu will do that to Notre Dame tonight .

Arkansas and Cincy are close near the end of the 3rd q

Nebrasky is actually winning , but barely over FCS North Dakota Fighting Hawks .

What are you watching ?

What am I watching? To kill time, after giving up on the Ducks v Dogs game, YouTube videos of high speed police chases; 140mph +/- top ends with a finale comprising successful pit maneuvers followed by "Show me your hands". Whoosh.

the snowflakes threads are a good idea but they take up too much of the board and stay up to long pushing good post-game topics, evening games, etc off the board too quickly.

suggestion: combine them into 2 instead of 4.  so keep, say, 'offense/coaching' as one, 'defense/special teams' as the other.

all in favor, say 'aye', those opposed, same sign...

Jedd Fisch and Arizona spoiled Brady Hoke and San Diego State's home opener in a new stadium. Looks like the Aztecs' starting QB got knocked out with a shoulder injury and the backup quarterback looked like he didn't belong. Down 18 with 10 minutes left in the game and all SDSU did was run the ball. Arizona dominated...with the exception of this, umm, self-inflicted situation:

My 2 cents

Bama and UGA are basically the same program now and a step above the rest.

Don't care how many 5* players OSU has, if they're not elite on the D-line and don't play as fast as the $EC giants, they are not in that group. OSU needs to prove they aren't soft under Day.

UM looked good. Hard to judge given the competition, but if JJ is elite, we can take that next step, we have the horses to win the conference again.  To compete with Bama and UGA, JJ will need to be a Trevor Lawrence type difference maker.

meanwhile wisconsin has 6 yards of offense through the first quarter.  that's it.  6.  no more.  against illinois state.  the only reason wisconsin is up 7-0 was a pick-six deep in wisconsin territory.  could be trouble brewing in madison.

Jeez I didn't even realize OSU whored out their new turf field to Safelite auto glass. First the Indians, then Paul Brown Stadium, now this. Tough year for tradition in the state of Ohio. We even lost the Baker Mayfield at home commercials.

One thing that’s absolutely true is OSU will not be as great under Day as they were under Meyer. Meyer may not be very likable, but he’s one of the all-time greats. When one of those guys leaves a school, the program inevitably declines. They’ll still be very good, but they won’t be what they were.
