How is Ohio losing to UMASS?
September 29th, 2012 at 6:02 PM ^
Cuz UMass is a decent team.

Tony Lippett holds the ball up after a mundane reception to signal that he caught it. That's pretty funny

Ohio's pass defense sucks.
September 29th, 2012 at 6:05 PM ^
and the idiot color guy on the MSU radio broadcast keeps asserting that MSU has more talent and is more athletic than Ohio State. The last time he was making that boast, OSU gets the long touchdown pass to reclaim the lead.
September 29th, 2012 at 6:07 PM ^
If memory serves me correctly....that is former Sparty QB Bill Burke who does the radio with Blaha.
September 29th, 2012 at 6:16 PM ^
Whoever it is, he sounds like he's about 60 years old and not that bright.
Whether they're on the field or up in the broadcast booth, Spartoons just can't keep from running their mouth.
September 29th, 2012 at 6:06 PM ^
Both of these teams look shitty.
September 29th, 2012 at 6:10 PM ^
These two are playing like how old people fuck; slow and sloppy.

that was some ugly tackling as well

Allen has regressed quite a bit this year. He can't wrap up at all.

Marshall scores again. Purdue leads them 45-35.
September 29th, 2012 at 6:11 PM ^
Amazing that MSU can't seem to recognize that Miller always looks to that 5-yard sideline route for a safety valve.
September 29th, 2012 at 6:11 PM ^
Okay I confess I may have spoken too soon about Purdue being "really" good. Now 45-35
September 29th, 2012 at 6:15 PM ^
That is also with 2 returned interceptions for touchdowns.

So Dantonio makes a living recruiting good Ohio players? News to me.

Spaaaaartans! What is your profession!!!!
Uh, packaging.
September 29th, 2012 at 6:12 PM ^
Umm...Brent, Hoke is the one who is taking urban to school in Ohio. Dantonio doesn't really hit the same guys Urban does. I mean dantonio needs to worry about Hoke coming in and taking those guys like Rush that Dantonio has made a living on that the old staff completely passed on for whatever reason.

sparty got screwed there
September 29th, 2012 at 6:13 PM ^
This is why anytime you have a potential fumble, you should just let the play keep going.
September 29th, 2012 at 6:17 PM ^
What's the upside for blowing it down so early? The only "bad outcome from allowing State to take it to the endzone is a tired defender. By blowing it down there, they might well have helped decide the game in a major way.

UH OH.. looks ugly for Miller
September 29th, 2012 at 6:17 PM ^
September 29th, 2012 at 6:15 PM ^
The Spartans are highlighting a new fixture in the defense called "community tackling", it seems. It takes a village to bring down a rusher or receiver.
Also, that looked like a fumble to me, but hopefully Miller is OK - looks like he fell awkwardly on his knee, and it doesn't look pretty.

Braxton injured. Goodbye bucks season. Just hang on here.

September 29th, 2012 at 6:14 PM ^
That fumble not called was obviously a Jim Delaney conspiracy to screw Sparty.

My hopes coming into this game were that Sparty would lose, and they'd get screwed by the refs. Well, right now I'm 1 out of 2. Go refs!
September 29th, 2012 at 6:22 PM ^
But the replay guy took it away. The refs need to step it up.
