According to the recruiting tracker on ESPN, Florida dropped him. Maybe they got fed up with all the official visits he's been taking so late in the game, especially after being committed to UF for so long. This certainly can't hurt our chances! Although conventional wisdom has him to FSU

to be honest i rather have sean parker. he seems like a more instinctive football player from watching highlight than Dorsey who seems to predicate his game on his athleticism (elite speed). I am not saying that Dorsey could develop into a great safety, but with our safety concerns I would rather have someone who is more ready to play the position. That said, either one would be great pickups obviously.

that was full-on presidential debate type shit right there. no but to be serious for a second. i was of the thinking that the strong safety played closer to the line (FS for g-rob) whereas the free safety played more centerfield (SS for g-rob). is this incorrect?

Yeah, what he said...or we'll kill you. Honestly though, Dorsey is an athletic freak. His speed alone is killer. We've talked about Sean Parker so much though that I'd be more upset about missing out on him than Dorsey...if that makes any sense at all.

I like Knight the most out of the three to be completely honest. He just looks like a BEAST... He hits like a train, and is built like a truck... Parker doesn't look very muscular, but he looks like he's a guy who is always in the right spot. Dorsey looks like a skinny guy who would come out of nowhere to hawk the ball ... LETS GET THEM ALL

I like that idea, Let's get them all. Maybe RR can work some magic. One thing I've noticed lately that I get the bleacher report and it's old news when I check here on Mgoblog.

is an elite level FS. He will make teams scared to throw deep because of his great make up speed. As bad as our D secondary was, I would like to have both. He would play CB and some offense also. Come on Dorsey, that's an offer you can't refuse.

We should harken back to olden times and offer him Maurice Taylor's Grandma's Explorer or Tractor Traylor's customized Suburban to close the deal.

Free safety was manned by Jordan Kovacs last year. We need more than one scholarship player to fill that position. Robinson is probably a candidate to move to LB eventually, so that's why we have Marvin Robinson, Carvin Johnson, and potentially Rashad Knight.

think that M. Robinson would be better suited for SS with his build and tackling ability. If they were actually talking about moving him to OLB, SS is the place for him. I don't know what's going on with Vlad. Does anyone know?
