EDIT: my first thought when seeing '999' with nothing else was that '999' means 'officer down' in radio code back in my old life out west. you get/hear a '999' call and the hair on the back of your neck will stand up.

For me it’s the stuffed toys that do it. We see face paint, necklaces, the glasses, gloves, temp tattoos and buttons all the time. It’s all pretty much “normal”. But the stuffed toys? Yo, that’s just next level weird.
