Zusi is old and shouldn't play after this tournament...but he's smart and actually good on set pieces. Probably the best we have taking corners.

Chandler gives you nothing but heartburn and plays a position where no one should say that about you.

So why would you start your argument with that? As if you're putting me down for being on a blog...when you're literally doing the same thing. Think before you type.

And yes, he's struggled throughout his entire career as a defender, he's not good as a defender IMO.

That has nothing to do with an awesome goal that he scored. Your logic is awful. It's like saying just because someone is a great dunker that they're the best player on the team.

If Brad Guzan scored that goal, does that make him a great goalie?

It's just awful logic on your behalf...for someone on a blog, you should step your game up.

He's going to go too fast sometimes, but eventually he's going to force some action because he just puts so much pressure on the other team.

I'd like to see 3 subs right off the start...

Anyone for Chandler, Bedoya for Zusi, Zardes for Altidore.

Then in the 65th/70th minute Ice Man for Dempsey, Morales for Mix, either goalie for Guzan.

I didn't make a personal attack...a personal attack would be about his personality or his character or something personal, like his family.

Go back to the drinking thread and give an update...you're drunk and spewing nonsense.

If you're not, you're just an idiot. See, that was a personal attack. But it was also the truth, so I'll live with it.

WOW FUCK SHIT BALLS! What a goal.

I take it all back (I don't, still think he's a terrible defender, always thought he was a slow midfielder than a fast defender, but whatever)

is succeeding. I believe we are a more technically proficient side now than when he took over. And he is identifying talent. Big tests ahead over the next three years, but in my opinion a lot of the doubts that surfaced just before the WC last year--where we definitely saw only mised success--are starting to be allayed.

They are still hard to watch -- stone-footed first touches, running up on each other, inability to turn, plays into space with far too much pace, mis-timed runs, ball-watching, inability to track back with runners, it's just far below better sides.
