4* Top 150 OL Andrew Sprague committing Friday
We are experiencing the fun times of Michigan football on the field and on the recruiting trail. Top 150 OT and Michigan's #1 OL Target Andrew Sprague announced that he will be making his college commitment this Friday:

For those keeping track, Sprague just visited for the Spring Game and received #Ballz from Steve Lorenz, Brice Marich, Sam Webb and Sam Wiltfong to Michigan coming off his visit.
If Sprague commits to Michigan on Friday, they will move up to the #2 overall recruiting class in the country.
Sam Wiltfong, Steve Wiltfong, Steve Wingding, same thing.
Sam Wingding
How’s his pad level?
At 6'8", I'm guessing its high 🤣
It is pretty high but he apparently is also agile/quick enough that they use him multiple times on pulls from the Tackle spot. VERY hard to do for guys that big (I was an OT but not NEARLY as big and it was HARD lol).
Important context of what they are watching...
Lucky dog. Having a puss do that.
Until one of those teeth or claws pierce through.
Hard pass.
You might need counseling.
This is literally the only situation where blue balls are a good thing!
Bon Scott knew his recruiting.
I just Spragued in my pants.
This just took 'tweeting at croots' to whole different level...
That’s so funny…..if you’re in the 8th grade.
Michigan football is living their best life now
....and hope it continues FOREVER!!!

Is this how Michaelangelo felt during the Renaissance?
The Davis effect is starting to reap benefits for us. Hoping it’s the start of a magical recruiting time. Go Blue.
Sam said this was just the beginning.
Like to see some elite wide receivers and corners join. We seem to be landing everything else in recruiting right now.
Luckily, Davis is HS teammates with a pair of top 500 receivers. There are also multiple other 4 star receivers we're in on. For corner, our top prospects are in Ohio and will be a battle with Ohio State that will drag on for a while.
I'll add a 315 lb+ DT to that list. I don't ever want to go back to being undersized on the interior D-line. By the time the 2024's are on campus Grant and Graham will already be juniors. Pierce might grow into that but I like at least one per cycle.
Yeah, I agree with you on that. We need some true nose tackles for sure.
Hartline just pulled another 5* WR out of IN
Teams like Alabama, Georgia, OSU are always going to get top 5 classes - just the way it is.....like it or not, If they lose a top recruit to another school, they have a couple more - rated just as high - to take. OSU lost Marshall - to us -yet they picked up Peoples out of Texas
UM just has to keep somewhat close to them and then the development and coaching takes over,
This OL class is going to be absurd. Sprague and Frazier seem like only a matter of time. We're in a great spot with Max Anderson. Getting the vibe we're in a good spot with Michael Uini and Bennett Warren as well. Then we have the #1 tackle in the class, Brandon Baker, visiting soon. At this point, I don't think it's out of the question that Roebuck or Hamilton maybe get processed
Yeah, I wouldn’t process your two Ohio linemen and two of your biggest recruiters. That is recipe for losing the state back to Ohio St completely. I’d rather sign all of them you can and let them compete. We are going to lose a lot of linemen to the NFL in the next two years.
Given the work that those guys are putting in, I'd be pretty surprised if they got processed. More likely that the staff has to say 'sorry, we're full' to someone who doesn't lock in a spot early. Gotta be a good problem to have, to have too many guys you really like want to sign up.
This is exactly what will happen. Michigan will encourage recruits to sign early, otherwise they will miss their spot.

Let's hope it will be a Good Friday for the good guys
Should Mr. Sprague commit to Michigan, which appears likely, that would make the 2024 line recruits 6' 5" - 6' 7" - 6' 8". Adding another 2 - 3 OL of this size would be awesome. It may hide what the QB & RB are doing in the backfield; let alone making it difficult for a D trying to get past these guys. Another advantage for Michigan.
We probably want some shorter guys on the inside considering Davis' height.
No doubt! Drew Brees proved that short guys don't work out!
Oh, wait...
Forget about it. He's all sparty
You mean he's going to,"Tuck his in?"
Let the flood gates of recruiting verbals commence
C’mon down
This is a wonderful get!!! Never doubted Jim, even the throw away Covid year! You could see he was building an identity… it was a matter of time before it paid off!
any o-line man that isn’t lined up to play for Georgia or Michigan is bought. These two schools have been killing it with o-linemen
Any chance you can cut this post, and then paste it back in on Friday - if he does actually commit to Michigan?
Old friend Nick Baumgardner is calling him the next Lewan
It’s gonna take more than a Lewan bend to be Lewan.
FWIW, osu has received CBs in for Air Noland and Dylan Stewart. They are salvaging their “bad class” into a monster class again. Big sad.
