14-0.?
January 25th, 2021 at 6:22 PM ^
Are we going to opt out of the Championship Game after making it all the way there?!?!
Hell no!
15-0 baby!!!
January 25th, 2021 at 6:24 PM ^
Alabama will chicken out of playing to save face.?
January 25th, 2021 at 6:34 PM ^
No the B1G ADs will just vote OSU into the B1G Championship game instead of us.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:21 PM ^
Excellent. Let’s get to work
January 25th, 2021 at 6:22 PM ^
Maybe we should look for a better QB coach. Our QB play has been turrible for some time.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:24 PM ^
I hear Drew Brees is available
/s
January 25th, 2021 at 7:00 PM ^
Well, given the fact that McDaniels was our QB coach, and was just fired.....along with Harbaugh personally taking over the responsibility.....I don't see how your comment makes any sense, at all?
You make a comment like that, right after it's announced that Harbaugh is the QB coach, for the first time since he took over the team. ?♂️
January 25th, 2021 at 7:34 PM ^
Well, we did get rid of our QB coach from the last two years, Ben McDaniels. Pep Hamilton was the qb coach the 2 years prior to that, and he's gone too.... so.. mission accomplished.
January 25th, 2021 at 8:36 PM ^
What does our QB play have to do with our current QB coach exactly? Harbaugh hasn’t been out QB coach since Rudock and then Speight’s first year. Two pretty good years by them.
January 26th, 2021 at 12:43 PM ^
Mgoboarders: "Harbaugh can't keep his hands off the Gattis offense and play calling."
Mgoboarders: "Harbaugh had nothing to do with the QB play because he was not the QB coach."
January 26th, 2021 at 8:38 AM ^
I hate this perspective. Have we ever stopped to think that some of the QBs just didnt live up to our expectations? What about the other factors on offense?
January 25th, 2021 at 6:25 PM ^
2 WR coaches?
They better catch everything in a 5 yard radius!
January 25th, 2021 at 7:23 PM ^
If that doesn't get us a Heisman Trophy winning WR, nothing will!
January 25th, 2021 at 6:26 PM ^
2 wr coaches?
January 25th, 2021 at 7:55 PM ^
So Gattis can focus more on the overall offense.
January 25th, 2021 at 8:38 PM ^
Allows Gattis to focus more on the entire offense while also mentoring a guy who has never been a college coach before. Id prefer that to Bellamy just coaching WRs on his own. Former player or not, collegiate coaching is a different animal and it’s nice to have a mentor.
January 25th, 2021 at 9:47 PM ^
Bellamy have played Wr in HS College and the NFL and have coached in HS for 12 years, I am sure he dont need to be mentored in coaching wrs.The same goes for the other young coaches. Let these guys coach and stop doubting their skills. Did Gus Malzahn need mentoring when he left high School?
January 25th, 2021 at 10:42 PM ^
Did Gus Malzahn need mentoring when he left high School?
Well, he was 18 years old when he left high school. So yes, he probably needed mentoring.
8.5.7January 25th, 2021 at 11:11 PM ^
This is exactly right.
Am surprised Bellamy isn't on WR or TE duty alone.
Am surprised Jay has double duty ST and TE but probably because he recruited the TEs.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:28 PM ^
I like it. I predict good things.
January 25th, 2021 at 11:06 PM ^
Well, now that you won't be as busy in November for a couple years perhaps you could work on delivering a swing ref or two for The Game.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:28 PM ^
Here's hoping that Ron Bellamy's All-Stars don't Underachieve.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:29 PM ^
As someone who grew up close to the stadium (Manchester Flats) and went to a few games, but listened outside the stadium for most, seeing Ronald Bellamy gets me excited. I remember hearing Navarre to Bellamy quite a bit. I think Drew threw quite a bit to him as well. He hates the buckeyes.
January 25th, 2021 at 7:01 PM ^
Out of curiosity I looked up Ron's record—he caught 7 passes from Henson in 2000, and a total of 60 from Navarre in 2001-2002.
January 25th, 2021 at 8:23 PM ^
Interesting. Thanks, Don.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:32 PM ^
Hopefully Gattis sticks to OC, much like MacDonald at DC. I just want those two youngsters to concentrate on play calling.
January 25th, 2021 at 9:15 PM ^
MacDonald's coaching LBs. Gattis will coach WRs.
How many college OCs and DCs don't coach a position group, <5%?
January 25th, 2021 at 9:24 PM ^
Hopefully it’s more like help with the linebackers and help with the wide receivers. We have Jean Mary and Bellamy for those positions now. Does Sherrone need to help Hart with the running backs too because he’s the oline coach and CO-OC?

Reshuffling deck chairs on the Titanic
January 25th, 2021 at 6:44 PM ^
Wrong. Reshuffling deck chairs would be what Dantonio did in his last year.
This would be getting new deck chairs for the Titanic (if you’re a pessimist).
January 25th, 2021 at 11:11 PM ^
That's being kind. Dantonio re-shuffled the deck chairs and retained the iceberg
January 25th, 2021 at 6:45 PM ^
Not really. We bought some new chairs off craigslist.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:46 PM ^
Except 50% of the staff is new? It’s more like me reshuffling your wife’s vagina with my cock.
January 25th, 2021 at 7:24 PM ^
Thread should end here. You win.
January 25th, 2021 at 7:55 PM ^
I chortled.
January 26th, 2021 at 9:26 AM ^
This is the best comment anyone's ever posted here.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:46 PM ^
YOU'RE a deck chair on the titanic
(I was close to including a rod allen quote about the upper deck but I thought it was a bit much, you don't deserve that despite your pessimism)
January 25th, 2021 at 7:13 PM ^
The Jerk Store called and they're out of HIM!
January 25th, 2021 at 7:15 PM ^
Ok, George.
January 25th, 2021 at 7:43 PM ^
Username Almost checks out.,, (t-bone)
January 25th, 2021 at 7:05 PM ^
You’re so positive it’s a great trait of yours. Well practiced. You should treat people for over-happiness daily.
January 25th, 2021 at 8:39 PM ^
How do you reshuffle chairs when you’ve gotten rid of and replaced most of your chairs?
January 26th, 2021 at 7:44 AM ^
Go to the Dollar General and buy new ones, brand new chairs but you felt like you paid nothing.
January 26th, 2021 at 12:49 AM ^
No it’s not actually like that at all...
January 26th, 2021 at 5:59 AM ^
His post did exactly what he expected lol. I hope this staff does well, but im not excited by it.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:51 PM ^
I'm actually excited to see how the WRs do with a dedicated coach; one of the reasons I think 2019 underwhelmed offensively was the loss of McElwain as a position coach led to guys regressing, and last year also wasn't great on that front. And I have faith Bellamy can teach the position well.
Harbaugh at QB will be interesting; I think McDaniels was a bad QB coach and hurt the QB development somewhat. Harbaugh is a good QB coach and I'm optimistic he'll be able to help whomever is the starter.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:58 PM ^
Seems like Harbaugh is doubling down on his future by officially taking QB coach duties. I like it. Or maybe it's simply a genius move because he knows McCarthy is guaranteed to be Andrew Luck redux.
January 25th, 2021 at 6:54 PM ^
Moore said this, “I’m full speed, full throttle, but at the same time if they’re doing it right they’re going to know they’re doing it right. I’m congratulative and make sure they’re appropriately congratulated each time they do it right.”
My question is....why did he feel the need to say that? Was Warriner not congratulative?
