2021 DE/OLB Dallas Turner announcing on July 1

Fort Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas defensive end/outside linebacker Dallas Turner posted on Twitter that he's going to be announcing his decision in about a week on July 1. Listed at 6'4" and 235 pounds, he's a 4-star, the #2 weakside end, and #44 overall.

The most recent crystal balls are for Alabama, but Michigan is in his final five. Ja'Den McBurrows and Jaydon Hood are both teammates of Turner, and it was thought that they might help get him to Michigan. Turner is a high academic kid like Da'Shawn Hand, so Alabama makes sense.

I followed Yoder until recently simply to see what happens on his account when he gets in trouble (with the university, or sam webb, etc etc) and makes it private (spoiler: he stops tweeting and licks his wounds). I've been around Mgoblog for a damn decade and remember Ace Williams and his other aliases. It's fascinating how far he goes to be the same dbag he's always been.

Another tidbit is that while it will only be Hoods first year at St. Thomas Aquinas Sam Webb said that Mcburrows is one of Dallas Turners closest friends if not his best friend. Also Mcburrows has played with Turner for a while now as Mcburrows and Turner both started there High School careers at American Heritage before transferring to Aquinas.

LOL... the joke is on Hand since he ended up on the Lions.

He's committing now because the coach at his school has a policy that he wants his guys committing before they start their senior season. Sam says Michigan will not stop recruiting him.
