Michigan target 4* WR Xavier Worthy was set to commit on June 27th and had 100% crystal balls to Oregon with medium-high confidence. However, he just announced that he will be postponing his commitment which seems to be good news for us. It looks to be a Oregon and Michigan battle and it's worth noting he hasn't visited either campus. Giles Jackson and other 2021 WR target Christian Dixon have both been recruiting him hard on Twitter. We'll see how this plays out, but he would be a huge get for us as he runs a ~4.30 40.
This can’t be seen as bad news at all.
You must be unfamiliar with our fan base
We're definitely not worthy.
Correct. Unless you can run sub 4.3 you might as well be Drew Dileo.
Unless he was a silent commit to us.

Would be phenomenal to get him and Dixon. He shot up the rankings in the rerank, and looks like a stud. Hopefully Oregon’s WR class looks a little crowded to him

According to 247 Oregon only has 2 WRs and 1 recruit? I have no idea about their roster but they can't only have 2 WRs. Anyway, if that is even close to accurate then he's not worried about things being too full there.
So the priority seems to be Dixon and worthy with Andrel Anthony as the backup plan?
I think so. Anthony seems to be trending MSU right now
I think Michigan is also courting Jayden Thomas heavily. They’ll probably take him, Dixon, and Worthy if they want in. Anthony is a backup but likely to MSU. Lorenzo Styles can replace any of the first 3 if he wants to flip from ND.
From what I’ve heard Xavier Worthy is the No.1 target for Michigan at WR and will always have a spot in the class no matter what happens because he is the embodiment of “speed in space”. I then think Styles is a close 2nd but isn’t valued to the level Worthy is because he isn’t a true WR. Then I would say Dixon is 3rd because he’s a true deep threat that this class is looking for. Thomas is a close 4th because he’s deceptively athletic and is also a deep threat (You could definitely flip Dixon and Thomas but I prefer Dixon). And finally I would put Andrel at the bottom but by all means he’s not bad. I think Michigan would’ve liked Andrel to commit earlier but he wasn’t able to take his visits because of basketball season and CoronaVirus so he’s a little hesitant to just commit. I think because of this Michigan has kinda cut ties but this is just my opinion.
I want Xavier because he can become Zavier.
Edit: I stepped on a post below me. Sorry Larry Appleton
247 has him ranked in the top 100 overall (95). Come over to the good guys, Xavier!
Tell him we'll let him change his name to "Zavier," but only until he graduates!
But even then he may not be successful in selling his used shoes to a nephew of a guy on Mgoblog
Spoiler alert, he does not run ~4.3 40 but he is very fast
Pretty sure he’s run a 10.55 100 though.
And hopefully he can cut a little off that this year!
some simple math* puts his 40 at 4.22.
*day drinking
Fred Jackson says he runs a 4.3 40 so you can put aside your doubt.
I believe Fred Jackson said a 3.4 40.
Dyslexia.
"he runs a 4.3 40, but fast"
FYI - He stated on Instagram Live (with Giles) that he will now be committing in late August.
Him and Giles are good friends.
YESSSS!!!!
If I am a top 100 recruit there is no way I miss out on the visits to campus. He can wait until the end of the year when at least some visits are likely to begin.
His uncle is a big UM fan. Gives him a little more time to work on him.
Go Blue young man!
Coming soon.
