Soooo many jersey number changes.

Nico to #1 probably the most noteworthy. Vincent Gray #4.

The new NCAA rule allows only two players to wear the same number. We can’t have four guys at #3 anymore.

1) Seeing Chris Evans back on the roster is great

2) McCaffrey's beard is amazing

3) Charles Thomas is listed at 6'0" 240 which seems... large

4) Hutchinson is listed at 269 which seems somewhat lighter than last year?

I'm gonna be honest. If any of you guys have actually met me in real life, you'll see that I'm nothing like what I am on here.

I did not realize we had a grad transfer DT from Brown (Elijah Pierre).  Not that I’m expecting anything dramatic from him, just seems rare that, well, anything happens with this team that escapes these boards.

3 sacks, 4.5 TFL in 8 games as a senior.

A few interesting things I noticed:

  • Hutchinson, Welschoff, & Newburg are almost identical at 6'6" 270.  Looking at them all last year I would guessed Hutch was bigger than the other two.
  • DTs Jeter, Smith, Hinton, & Pea are all over 300 lbs.  Hopefully we don't pushed around as much in the middle this year.
  • Joe Milton is now up to 243 lbs!  We have a TE playing QB.
  • In the all muscles team Ben VS is up to 253 lbs and bigger than Mason.  I'll bet he's still ripped too.
  • Last year's freshman o-lineman (Rumler, Carpenter, Barnheart, & Jones) are all over 300 lbs.
  • We have some massive OTs.  Zinter, Steuber, Keegan are all in the 6'6"-6'7" 330-340 lbs range.
  • Charbonnet & Haskins are an identical 6'1" 220 lbs.
  • Projected starters Dax Hill, Dylan McCaffrey, Ambry Thomas, Carlo Kemp, and Ronnie Bell didn't appear to put on any weight this offseason.
  • Chris Evans remains the same, which is probably a good indication he's stayed in shape.
