Any player who decommits from Michigan does so for one reason and one reason only - they were paid by other schools to do so.  There are no other viable reasons for any player at any time to decommit other than competing schools cheating.

Tell her about the day it was a dark and stormy night and Rashan Gary was playing in a 12U CYO championship game in a raging Nor'easter and his team was losing 35-14 with ONLY SIX MINUTES to go in the game and in desperation,  Rashan's HC Chris Christie took him off the line and put him in at QB and Rashan miraculously threw three touchdown passes TO HIMSELF....the last one tying the game --with NO TIME LEFT ON THE CLOCK!!!!!

Then........... came that INCREDIBLE  INTERGALACTIC play!  "THE PLAY"-- that Christie and thousands of other New Jerseyites STILL CLAIM they saw Rashan perform that day:

The goal posts had blown down in the storm so Rashan was asked to hold them up for the game-tying kick-- but, as the new QB, he went for TWO by faking the kick and running an option to the RIGHT side when he suddenly stopped, whirled, waved to his Mom, dabbed--and then lofted a pass to the deep LEFT corner of the end zone and exploded to the spot--sprinting, lunging, and making an off balance catch with just one hand--all the while holding on to the goal posts!!!

FINAL SCORE 36-35!

If he did decommit, which may not be true since his commitment tweet is still pinned, I find it funny he used the same language that bagmen used to describe recruits until NSD.

His commitment always seemed a bit fluid. Wish him luck. Might want to stay away from Ole Miss if he plans on competing for anything in the near future.

disappointing, kid looked legit and will probably get a ratings bump. but its too early for me in the cycle for me to care too much about decommits from any of the guys we have now.

Considering his journey just started back in December. There are clearly higher players, not jus WR, on their board and he's talking like they haven't spoken in 9 months. Also isn't it a dead period now?

Thanks for the clarity on the term. I'm just finding that a few of these recent decommitments conveniently have been coming attached with unnecessary dialogue, that seemingly are included to validate the decision. I respect this though and hope he lands where he feels prioritized and Michigan can land whom they are after. Very early in the game.

Sounds like someone has been in this kid's ear. The entire southeast is riled about Harbaugh right now. UM scares them. The young man, fairly or not, comes off sounding like he's whining about lack of attention. Both sides can move on. Whether or not this was a wise decision won't be known for at least two years. I know UM will be just fine.

I'm working on a new dance move called the "Sankey Leg".  You shake your right leg as cash falls out of yoru pocket usually falling near a highscool athlete and then you shake your finger at someone else.

I sure hope the media outlets grab this and point out how fluid commitments are on both sides of the coin! (I'm sure they're preparing a front page article as we speak!)
