2015 Exposure U Camp

Submitted by Magnus on

No offense to the fans of raccoons, Gigabit Pro, or housing tips, but I like to talk about recruiting. EastCoast posted a thread about all the colleges who are also helping out at the Exposure U camp (LINK), and below is a link to the notable players who have ventured to Ann Arbor for the camp. I've tried to keep a running list, and they are organized into 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 classes since the camp is only open to players in or entering high school.

I'm sure Dan Mullen will be surprised to learn that Jim Harbaugh can both teach Michigan kids about football *and* teach kids around the country about football.

Also, David Terrell, Jr. is attending the camp. Yup. I bet a lot of people are feeling old now.

Edwards has some solid game but I don't see us offering unless we don't get at least 2 of the 3 guys from New Jersey. Also Trishton Jackson has some serious athleticism that puts him ahead of Edwards IMO.

Here is another great article disucssing the upside that these camps have. This quote is amazing: "In my America, you're allowed to cross the state borders," Harbaugh says. "That's the America I know."

It really seems like everything Harbaugh has been doing, going back to training Winston before the draft and brining him to the Aerial Assault clinic, has been calculated.

Easily the best part about that article is Harbaugh's response on "brand":

USA Today Excerpt:

Harbaugh disputes that the satellite camps were about recruiting or even rebuilding the Michigan brand.

"I don't know what that means, a brand," he says, saying instead it was about "sharing a love for football."

After years of hearing about "the Brand" from a BRAND-on that made my day.

My brother was throwing to Trishton all day yesterday at the camp and talked about how explosive he was and that he was a great playmaker.  He also threw to Trishton, Bailey and Gray and said Bailey was alright but nowhere near the level of Trishton.  My bro had a couple one on one sessions with Fisch and Trishton as well.

Yeah. I feel like Trishton Jackson is one of those guys I'd want to offer late as an "athlete" who could play a couple different positions. With the way things are going, I'm not sure if there will be room for those types of players. He could very well choose someone else over Michigan, anyway.
