OSU has no one to blame but themselves for taking the big ten tourney off, not even showing up vs PSU, and then getting bumped to 9th in the pwr, and placed in a brutal draw.  Notre Dame in contrast took the tourney seriously, they had to obviously, and ended up, imo, in a better draw.

Was just as uninformed, and since no one else wants to do it, I'll post what I found on their site:

American International College, AIC is a private institution located in Springfield, Massachusetts that was founded in 1885 with a mission to educate immigrants traveling to the United States through New York. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 1,372.
The American International Yellow Jackets men's ice hockey team is a NCAA Division I college ice hockey program and are a member of Atlantic Hockey conference. They play at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA, 2019 overall record of 23-16-1, won the 2019 Atlantic Hockey tourney and are the first team since 2012 to win both the regular season and tournament championships in the same season. The Atlantic Hockey Conference was previously the Metro Atlantic Hockey Conference and includes universities Mercyhurst, RIT, Niagra, USMI(Army), US Air Force Academy, Canisius, Holy Cross and Robert Morris as members.

Fun/Amazing fact:  This season, St. Cloud State was 21-0-1 on Olympic-sized ice and 9-6-2 on NHL-sized ice.

For some unknown reason, Olympic-sized (200 x 100 feet) rinks are not uncommon for college hockey teams in the great plains.  NHL-sized (200 x 85 feet) rinks are standard in the rest of North America.

Wow. Wasn't paying attention yesterday. That's some Holy Cross over Minnesota insanity

Doubly brutal because AIC is probably one of the worst D1 programs over the last decade

I assume this was a pitched battle featuring 25-year-old freshmen played in front of dozens of unsuspecting fans who thought they were there to have their blood sugar measured.

College hockey at its finest!
