Inter Milan ultras are very unhappy about their new red away jersey
Waiting for this trend to hit college football. Ugh. My Wolves have the same problem as Michigan when it comes to jerseys. We no longer have the true maize in our jerseys, Wolves no longer have the old gold on our jerseys. Home kits are now orange and black and the away are - black with green letters and numbers? Strange to say teh least. I know most clubs come out with new jerseys every year. I hope Dave Brandon is not a European soccer fan. Might get some ideas.
I've heard them referred to as "clash" jerseys, which maybe makes a little sense? I can accept weird-ass 3rd jerseys, but this seems to be the 2nd kit.
It's like giving Michigan a red alternate jersey; the same shade as that school in Columbus.
Does Nike know nothing about the teams they're outfitting?
This exactly. Imagine Michigan lining up against Oregon St away in scarlet jerseys and grey/silver Michigan helmets. You think Special K and bumble bee jerseys and numbers on the helmet are a tough sell? This would send the universe over the edge.
Behold Arsenal's new purple away kit. And poor Szczesny...
I've noticed pink creeping into more and more European sports' teams uniforms (including rugby). Is this a rather transparent attempt at marketing to female fans?
No, they're just European.
Purple with black shorts? Awful.
I've been an Inter fan for the past decade and a half and I can't remember this bad of a jersey. EVER.
Nike, please get your head out of the sand dammit!!!
