Now they triple mad. Michigan: your threepeat Big Ten Champions.

And you can’t have one without the other.

DIE MAD zoom call.

They tried everything to keep Michigan from the trophy.

Michigan will take it anyway. I’m distracted by the hopes/worries of the playoff… so it is important to remember:

For generations the goal at Michigan has been to win the Big Ten championship.

Michigan has won three in a row.

Unimaginable in 2020. And here they are.

Doesn’t get more Harbaugh than having Petitti give the trophy to Zinter instead since everyone’s waiting for the Petitti-to-Harbaugh handoff. LOVE IT. Keeps focus on the players while working in a snub, treating Petitti like the irrelevant nobody he is instead of giving him even a moment of the team’s airtime.

Tony Pettiti you coward. Show up on stage for one minute, don't say a word, and you run away. Michigan needs to see some changes in this league

I think back in 2018 or 2019 I just thought making the CFP would never ever happen for us. It just felt like an impossible goal. Now three straight vs OSU, three straight conference titles, and three straight CFPs. And now probably the first #1 I'll see on Michigan football in my fandom. FEELS GOOD

Agreed, but I think it's very important that we were able to make our mark on the 4 team era like this. It gives us major credibility as a program going into the future of 12 teams, revenue sharing (?), and super conferences (????).

The teams on top as each new era begins tend to have a baked in advantage. We saw that from the bottom, as we were in the Brady Hoke basement in 2014 when the 4 team era began. It took a ton of effort and time to get out of that. But now we're at (or extremely near) the pinnacle for the dawn of the next era, and that should make life considerably easier for the foreseeable future.
