Fuck superstition. Michigan by FIFTY
Line outside Blue Lep already long, in the several dozens as of half an hour ago.
Sent pledges to hold seats at Charley's a couple hours ago
Fuck Louisville.
is just being superstitious. I normally agree with Kenpom too, but it rates us based upon the entire season, and clearly we are a different team with McGary in full beast mode. We're a team of destiny...Michigan by 3.
And Louisville is also a different team without Ware. It would be interesting to see what the numbers would look like for just the last couple of months.
SHHHHHHH
If there's a ever a time to listen to irrational superstition, it's when your team has unexpectedly bulldozed people on the way to the FINALS. I'm trying to remember everything I did before the Syracuse game in preparation for tonight.
I haven't logged onto the blog during a game or done a liveblog since the tourney started, so I will not be joining tonight either. Should muppets ensue, I shall partake.
Damn you predictive algorithms!!
(Shakes fist at sky, where presumably the predictive algorithm gods live)
...that Michigan is in the NCG!!! GO BLUE!!!!!!!!
the reverse jinx thread wasn't even necessary. This took care of it.
He already tried the changing course thing at least once, even going so far as to say "Screw you, KenPom!": http://mgoblog.com/content/death-above-ohio-state
I'm all for staying the course in this case. No reason to upset any dearly departed Pomeroy's who may be able to influence the game from the afterlife.

ah...the reverse reverse reverse jinx.
This Louisville by 5 thing COMPLETELY TAKES IN TO ACCOUNT MITCH MCGARY MORPHING INTO THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER.
ALL HAIL THE KENPOM OVERLORDS
/This is not an anti-jinx
Agreed. The Coefficient of McGary must not be discounted.
The McGary Coefficient is my favorite Robert Ludlum novel.
Yet another member of the media biased against Michigan. Disgusting.
I for one can't wait until Michigan shocks the world and this so-called writer. Nobody is giving them a chance, but I think they can do it.
Louisville by four.
Beilein has been playing with house money all season, but he's on the verge of bankrupting the house. I'm calling a Chapter 7. Michigan by three. GO BLUE.
you Brian, going with the favorite...
/s
but for whatever reason, I have a real good feeling about this game.
but I also felt ok about the Minnesota-Duluth game after we passed that gauntlet
CRIPPLING FEAR
If I remember correctly...?
