3 weeks 9 hours ago	wow	nothing like considering the Strength of Schedule last year to really determine our likelihood of winning games this year...let alone the fact that most teams don't start with the ball inside their opponents side of the field! i wonder what the median % is on teams starting with the ball in their opponents territory? i bet it is pretty low
3 weeks 1 day ago	actually...	i cannot wait until it is legal for college athletes to get paid like the rest of $EC recruits....at least that way the top recruits will go to schools in nice cities/states/regions compared to the likes of Tuscaloosa and wherever the hell the Mississippi schools are located...I mean seriously, why would you not choose a B1G of PAC12 school over a swampy, humid, hot and shitty town over the likes of AA, Berkely, Madison, LA, Eugene, etc.etc.etc.????
3 weeks 3 days ago	i don't want to sound...	...arrogant by this post in any way, i have played both hockey and football in highschool (not nearly to the level of these recruits, granted)...but if you come into to either of these sports and expect to come out without serious lingering injuries you are simply lying to yourself...these are both blood-sports, plain and simple, and while i enjoy watching them as much as all of you, the facts remain that in collision sports these kids will more than likely undergo serious injuries down the road...IIRC the life expectancy of an NFL lineman is around 56 years, and a good majority of old NHL player have some form of arthritis...i am not degrading the character of these athletes by any means whatsoever, but i am saying that they had to know ahead of time that injuries are a likely outcome and it is part of the deal

4 weeks 3 days ago	you may call it narrow-minded...	but the University of Michigan has an endowment of roughly $8 billion dollars, a few extra million they may or may not gain/lose isn't going to be anything more than a drop in the bucket to these massive schools with ridiculously high endowments...In case you haven't noticed, the $EC is grabbing up the talented teams (granted they semi-cheat to do so, but that is besides my point) and a lot of revenue is flowing their way because people like to watch winners, not mediocrity....we can sit on our high-horse all day long about how great of research institutions we are, but we are dragging behind (as a whole) and bringing in good teams like L-ville and Pitt make all the dollars and sense
4 weeks 3 days ago	the AAU argument....	...is completely bunk, all that matters is if people will watch the games on television to make more advertising dollars...if the B10 were smart they would aquire either Pitt or L-ville for the main reasons being: high level of competition (which inadvertantly equals higher TV ratings), far better location for fans/teams to travel, and both schools have a relatively decent fan turnout (at least in b-ball) and wouldn't be revenue hogs much like Rutgers and Maryland
4 weeks 4 days ago	this is a bit OT...	...but I cannot stop thinking of how much better the conference would have been had we added Lousiville and Pitt instead of the east coast teams how have low game attendance and have generally sucked at the major sports for the past 5 years or so

5 weeks 1 day ago	well...	Billups Averaged 17.9, 19.5, 16.5 and 17.5 points per game and over 5 assists per game for each of the 4 years after he left the Pistons and lead the Nuggets to the Western Conference Finals....so yeah, i would say he was still in his prime
