I've seen his offseason workouts his personal trainer is a busty blond and likes to hold workouts on boats and down in Mexico, usually involving many reps of lift, tip, drink. It's MTV's the GRIND, Stafford style!

done last Monday.  I gave mine 6 months time to resolve on it's own without any luck. Not sure if he had other things done in the AC joint, but they could have done a few things. With mine, they created 10 mm of extra space in the AC joint. This involves shaving off part of the clavicle and possibly the acromion. If he had any ligament damage (AC lig, labrum, blah blah), which I'm assuming he did, I'm sure they repaired that as well. If he had any impingment going on, they may have also shaved off a portion of the inferior acromion as well, called a sub-acromial decompression.

My orthopod (guy who works for USC, Dodgers, and the Kings) told me 12 weeks and I'm back to full speed (mine was strictly deburring the distal clavicle and removing scarred bursa). I had it out of the sling the second day, so it's not that limiting. It's still really damn sore right now, but compared to a rotator repair, this is nothing. I believe the idea is that scar tissue cushions the area after full recovery.

Stafford's may have almost 18 mos to heal with the lockout - At the best, he'll have until midway into the season if the can salvage part of it.

If Matt could get a full season under his belt next year the Lions will be pretty solid, The chips are finally falling in place, Dude just needs to learn how to fall down a little more gracefully,

what happened at ironwood grill could of led to stafford needing the surgery

I really hope he gets healthy. The Lions could've easily had a better record if he would have been healthy the whole season. I think you'll all see me in the postseason at Ford Field? Alright that's too much, but still, best of luck to him.
