January 15th, 2011 at 8:07 PM ^
Matty Ice and Atlanta win the Superbowl!
January 15th, 2011 at 8:08 PM ^
as a bears fan, I cant root for GB, but god damn it would be nice to play them for the NFC championship. just saying. Should be a great game regardless...
January 15th, 2011 at 10:11 PM ^
I'll be rooting for the Bears tomorrow, I don't think the Seahawks and Big (Cheating) Balls Pete can get it done again.
January 15th, 2011 at 8:08 PM ^
I honestly didn't think we would be playing the no respect card at 13-3 and the 1 seed. Falcons are about to get this done.
January 15th, 2011 at 8:08 PM ^
I live in wisconsin and hate the packers with a passion
Go Falcons
January 15th, 2011 at 11:39 PM ^
January 15th, 2011 at 8:23 PM ^
ATL will win. They don't call him Matty Ice for nothin'. Plus, they're pretty good at home.
January 15th, 2011 at 8:24 PM ^
Interesting tidbit: I live across the street from a lineman for the Panthers and there are about 20 cars parked on our street. I think he has a bunch of his teammates to watch their hated rival (Falcons) on the TV. I thought about asking him how fun it is to watch his rivals in the playoffs but I decided against it - he's about 6'5" - 340lbs. Yikes!

Run over knock on the door, and ask if Clausen is there
Then show him this

If that POS is there, I'm going to key his car. Hahahaha. I hope they draft Mallett and Claussen can play 1st left out.

Too much choke in the Raven crop. Plus my key IT honcho hails from Sturgeon Bay, which is close enough and he may read this message. ('hi' dude)
January 15th, 2011 at 9:22 PM ^
But then we knew that already. And now the DirtyBirds have turned it over. Unleash Sir Charles...
January 15th, 2011 at 10:33 PM ^
And who now doubts that by end of the game we are approaching Wolverines vice Miss. State? Not that I like it, because certainly I don't Cheese-for-Brains...
Go Chicago Bears.
January 15th, 2011 at 8:28 PM ^
FUMBLE!!!! Delightful play, first by Jones, and then the Falcons D.

Jenkins the buckeye pushed off Woodson there
January 15th, 2011 at 8:38 PM ^
that rivalry should play tonight. FYI...GB plays a lot of odd fronts, i.e 335 defense. I am just saying, but not saying...if you know what I mean.
January 15th, 2011 at 8:35 PM ^
Michael Turner is a manbeast
January 15th, 2011 at 8:53 PM ^
Rodgers is ridiculous. Damn California QB's
January 15th, 2011 at 9:08 PM ^
Rodgers has got a gun. He's had some sick throws this drive.
January 15th, 2011 at 9:09 PM ^
There are some loud Green Bay voices there in Atlanta.
January 15th, 2011 at 9:12 PM ^
rodgers is making this bears fan worried.. uhhh yikes.. Those roll out throws. unreal.
January 15th, 2011 at 9:13 PM ^
GO PACK
January 15th, 2011 at 9:16 PM ^
I hate these penalties for touching the QB's ickle little head.
January 15th, 2011 at 9:21 PM ^

January 15th, 2011 at 9:36 PM ^
Will pull for Mr. Woodson and he deserves a RING!!
GO BLUE!!
January 15th, 2011 at 9:35 PM ^
go falcons. I hate the packers
January 15th, 2011 at 9:35 PM ^
James Jones is such a talented receiver. God the Packers could be scary if they stay healthy next year.
January 15th, 2011 at 9:40 PM ^
I had a vision that Woodson was about to do exactly that. Oh well. Wooooo!!
January 15th, 2011 at 9:40 PM ^
its over...GB IS "tough" and dominant, period.
January 15th, 2011 at 9:46 PM ^
PACK GO!
January 15th, 2011 at 9:48 PM ^
un real how well GB is playing. If the Bears survive, we are in trouble next week. yikes.
January 15th, 2011 at 9:55 PM ^
I know not necessary but I wanted to say:
Thank you for those individuals who are up-voting me. I really appreciate it. Avid reader of Mgoblog since 2007, but only been commenting since after the OSU game this year. This is a great place for me to find a home for my UofM obession. curatis et valeatis. pax vobiscum
January 15th, 2011 at 10:07 PM ^
it's hard for me to upvote ya, but I have...Chicago fans are rational and passionate...Vikings fans on the other hand? well, I won't go into that and stereotype.....
January 15th, 2011 at 9:54 PM ^
Their defense has been so good especially with how much injury trouble they are in. Nick Barnett is a good player!
Never mind Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley... really amazing.
January 16th, 2011 at 11:11 AM ^
Next year will be interesting. Both Hawk and Barnett are true Mikes - neither of them effectively plays the strong side ILB in the 3-4 (too much pass coverage requirement). Hawk has shown that he's every bit as good as Barnett at Mike...so who plays? No point in putting one or the other at SILB if that's not their true position, especially with Bishop and Chillar playing so well there.
January 15th, 2011 at 9:57 PM ^
did you see that high school age kid that hucked that football 80 yards in the NFL punt, pass, kick highlights going into the 3rd qtr. Coach Hoke needs to recruit this kid.
January 15th, 2011 at 10:16 PM ^
unreal! yeah he got a running start, but a nice spiral and just stayed in the air forever...ridiculous!
January 15th, 2011 at 9:59 PM ^
Watching the GB game and wouldn't mind seeing Mike Trgovac come back to UM! Could he really announce something like that, while GB are still in the playoffs? I know Jon Hoke has been mentioned. Just curious. Other possible guys? Steve Szabo, Steve Stripling?
January 15th, 2011 at 10:16 PM ^
The only thing I know is that Jon Hoke said that he is unlikely to take the job. I don't really want him there anyway, though. I hope they make a decision quickly, we need a good defense next year.
January 15th, 2011 at 10:06 PM ^
no one is mentioning Mike Trogovac but would be interesting choice.
January 15th, 2011 at 10:07 PM ^
as in legit sources
January 15th, 2011 at 10:08 PM ^
We made a ton of early mistakes. Jennings with bad ball position, terrible pad level on the fourth down and I was not feeling good. Since then we have been great. Got to say Aaron Rodgers has impressed me even further tonight.
January 15th, 2011 at 10:16 PM ^
"You dropped that"
January 15th, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
That punt was brought to you by that back-up from the OSU game.
