He is still very much a UM football commit despite the recent bad press, and seems very proud of it. It should be something to be happy about, not complain about

oh I see what you mean,
the "instability" I was referring to is RR's position at UM and how much longer his career at UM will last. A big question that will cause a lot a waves in many areas of the university

None of the UM backs on the 7-deep provide this, and most, like Brandon Minor and Carlos Brown before them, have been on a freaking gurney most of their career.
Demetrius Hart would be something special to the offense and take pressure of Denard.
It ain't over until February's signing day, but D. Hart is a game-breaker. Literally.

Dee is looking to start school next semester. This is pretty bad timing considering we are looking at a Jan 1 bowl game. Not much time to settle on a direction and repair the damage. Frost and Walls are mid-year graduates as well. Hopefully they love Michigan for Michigan?

Not sure if you have to do some stuff before-hand (like get admitted!), but you can still sign up for courses pretty late in January.
So maybe it's not as time pressured as we thought?

Fitzgerald Toussaint has 6 carries for 82 yards in his career. One of those was a 61-yarder while wearing a clunky knee brace.
His 4.0 yard average against Ohio State was approximately the same production that had everyone raving about Vincent Smith last year.
I've thought since he was recruited that Toussaint would be the best offensive player in the 2009 class. And if he can stay healthy (which I realize is a big "if"), then I think he can be very Slaton-like.
