Eagles - my bad.
November 15th, 2010 at 9:44 PM ^
is sick.
addition: He could be the Denard Robinson of the NFL.
November 15th, 2010 at 9:53 PM ^
Except he is throwing the better than ever, still no INT's this year.
November 15th, 2010 at 10:03 PM ^
It is like his passes are like lazers too. I honestly can't think of another QB in a long time that throws so fast and so accurate. It is like I am waiting for normalcy to set in for him and it hasn't happened yet.

I forget what the commercial was, but it had Vick throwing a bomb like 100 yards into the stands. I think it was Nike or Gatorade, and it was obviously computer animated, I'm begining to think it was real.
November 15th, 2010 at 10:07 PM ^
he could throw it out at Wrigley.

but their performance against the Bills was pretty sad...
November 15th, 2010 at 9:40 PM ^
If it wasn't for the maroon jerseys and yellow pants, I'd think I was watching Matt Millen's Lions teams of yester-decade. That's one thing I like about living in the DC area--watching Snyder's team suck hard.
November 15th, 2010 at 9:43 PM ^
Whatever they did to Vick in prison should be done to the Lions entire team. If Vick is healthy the entire year, its tough not picking the Eagles to go to the Super Bowl the way the NFC is this year.
November 15th, 2010 at 11:22 PM ^
Makes you realize why Dantonio brings back players onto his team after serving time ah ah ah ah...
November 15th, 2010 at 9:48 PM ^
as a QB is nothing short of amazing. Sure he had time to reflect, but to make a complete transformation from a running QB to a pocket passer who can run is very hard to do. He remains the most exciting player to watch and every players seems to gravitate toward Vick which is another reason why Reid went with Vick instead of continuing to start Kolb.

Great stick on the kickoff return!

Redskins could pull off the comeback of the year? We haven't had one yet. They must have re-signed McNabb for a reason, right? Redskins defence looks alive again after a four and out.

so happy i started vick over freeman this week..30 points in the first half
November 15th, 2010 at 10:04 PM ^
Vick over Brady and I am down 3 points to Brady still! I am sure he'll get those 3 by the end of the game.
UPDATE: 3 made

Fuck you McNabb
November 16th, 2010 at 1:26 AM ^
Are you the guy in one of the MGOBLOG fantasy leagues who offered me McNabb for Schaub straight up?
November 16th, 2010 at 8:39 AM ^
Nope LOL -- I'm a Skins' fan, and McNabb drives me nuts. Great game by the Iggles and Vick -- really unbelievable performance.
November 15th, 2010 at 10:04 PM ^
Sure hope nobody started the Skins defense this week.
November 15th, 2010 at 10:09 PM ^
So glad I have Vick on my fantasy team. I was down just under 40 points going into tonite, and he has single-handledly put me in the lead. It doesn't hurt having Maclin and Akers, either.
November 15th, 2010 at 10:07 PM ^
42 points in the first half with time to spare? Even the Hoosier's defense thinks Washington has mailed it in.

I was at the game last night sitting in the endzone and had the same reaction with some of the formations and executions. Almost thought I was watching Denard with his speed and it was even more impressive in person. Seeing it live you could see how fast he was "coasting" and then when he kicked it in gear you could get a much better sense of why the Skins defenders could do little else than flail all over the field trying to catch him. Truly awesome and a great win for the Igs!
November 16th, 2010 at 9:14 AM ^
was impressive with his decision-making, knowing when to give up on the pass and run (circa 4 seconds without anyone open); I hope we see similar good (on the field) decision-making from Denard in the future.
Also, how about that one play where he was open for 6+ seconds, hopping around and then delivering straight to Avant's bread basket? Beautiful.
November 15th, 2010 at 10:20 PM ^
bet the over? Holy ass whoopin' Batman! The first pass of the game was sick. I wish I had Vick on my fantasy team... I think he outscored all of my players in one quarter tonight.
November 15th, 2010 at 10:20 PM ^
I was down 66 points heading into this game for my fantasy football league. Started Vick and De'sean. Down only 10 now heading into halftime
November 15th, 2010 at 11:11 PM ^
Vick's earned 56 points for my main money league fantasy team so far...and I'm still down 15 points. The other guy had a fluke week with Fred Jackson, Stephen Jackson, Matt Schaub and Dwayne Bowe doing their thing.
November 15th, 2010 at 10:23 PM ^
Did you know the Dolphins had to pay Pennington an extra 3 Million if he started even one game this year? They paid it, and he didn't even finish the first quarter. That's one expensive mistake if you ask me...
November 15th, 2010 at 10:54 PM ^
This is one of the worst defensive performances in modern NFL history.
November 15th, 2010 at 11:12 PM ^
boy, this really escalated quickly. 59-21 with 5:19 remaining?
November 15th, 2010 at 11:21 PM ^
doesn't work in the NFL.........Vick is destroying the Redskins tonight..........
November 16th, 2010 at 11:41 AM ^
While I was watching the game I kept thinking to myself "hm..4 wide, 1 back, QB in the shotgun reading options...where have I seen this before?" Then I saw them run a bubble screen and out of sheer instinct I cringed, expecting a THREETSCREEN 5 feet over the head of the receiver. Didn't happen, of course.
Good to see Vick back like this.
November 15th, 2010 at 11:38 PM ^
to seeing Brandon Graham back on the field. Hopefully, his ankle heals well and he can get back on track. Good to watch Avant again.
November 15th, 2010 at 11:45 PM ^
As a Lions fan, I can't believe all of this is happening with Marty Mornhinweg as their OC. Amazing.

but as a fantasy owner, last night did an awful lot to help pave the road to recovery!
