So, there haven't been many of these on Defense, but on the final play...

I don't care if we gave up 65, that was WAYYYYYYYY better than Penn State. The defense was done no favors as far as Illinois' starting field position.

and played it in slow motion.  It was more like, the manager went down on this own, and RR did a nice little side step over the top of him for the victory celebration....

You wouldn't see that kind of agility from Lloyd Carr.... /s

Edit: watched the game again and it was actually Gardner that took out the manager.  Could we be seeing another switch from Off to Def?  ...../ double S

Probably a little bit. The wheel route TD will probably be the biggest thing from OTs as that'll get a -3 or -4 since it was a repeat playcall. I think we'll see a few more extreme #s than we're used to simply because of all the plays. Probably a huge + for Demens and some big negatives for Mouton and maybe some other guys.

has no business getting burned 3 times on the same wheel route.  i'm definitely feeling a little lucky today, but I'll take it.

The defense is still very bad, but my goodness is this offense amazing.  Another top D, another pile of yards and points.  We might have hung 60 in regulation if we hadn't turned it over 5 times.

That said, bowl eligibility was my hope for this season.  No more.  We just back got 80 practice hours of our lost 130.  The D could use it.

Also, can anyone confirm that DB was on with Brandy and Frank talking about the FR on D?  A friend said it sounded like an endorsement for RR to stay.  Apparently he's tired of the public job evaluations of RR.
