It looks awful on TV. If you're hating on the non-AQs, the day has taken a turn for the worse. Boise State is an inch away from turning this game into 20-0.
Edit:
TD on the review.
Question. If you're foot crosses the line and goes out of bounds, but the ball is behind you, it's not a TD, yes? Ref said it broke the plane, so in his mind this Q doesn't apply but was wondering, b/c that's what it looked to me.
Correction to correction: 21-0 as BSU did the swinging gate thingy.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:36 PM ^
TCU is pounding on Utah 20-0 just into the 2nd quarter. Pretty impressive road performance so far.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:47 PM ^
Between Utah's jersey's and TCU's stiffling defense, I'm about done with that game. On to Princeton and Penn... oh wait, this is a blowout too. Penn is moving the ball at will. Oh look, another winged helmet with no defense! They really need a Denard/Forcier.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:36 PM ^
TCU is exposing utah just like last year. wonder if TCU can jump boise.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:42 PM ^
TCU (#3) has already passed BSU (#4) in the BCS standings.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:42 PM ^
Like Fox News I'm calling this one early.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:47 PM ^
Yes, our D sucks. But dammit if that little PSU Qb didn't play over his head against us!
November 6th, 2010 at 4:49 PM ^
would probably put up close to 600 yards on our D. persa looks like a good qb.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:50 PM ^
double post
November 6th, 2010 at 4:54 PM ^
Oh noes. Black Shoe Diaries better not read this thread. We're not giving them enough respect.
Don't you know that McGloin is the best QB to ever play football college, nfl, cfl, arena football, or any league anywhere?
November 6th, 2010 at 4:53 PM ^
They fly to the ball. Hawaii's QB has been running around and making a few plays, but BSU is too good. I didn't see the UH-USC game to start the year, and of course, different point in the season/non-conference vs. conference gam, blah, blah ... Still, the Bronco D is good.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:53 PM ^
Nobody watching LSU/Alabama? Pretty good game thus far. LSU's D is still vastly underrated, as it's the only thing keeping them undefeated (okay, maybe special teams, too). Now if only they could string together a drive.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:06 PM ^
Julio Jones vs P. Peterson is great to watch. Les Mile's interview skills, not great to watch. You see that halftime interview? Yikes. And I say that as one fan on this blog that will admit to still liking Miles.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:07 PM ^
in Drake Nevis, Kelvin Sheppard and Patrick Peterson. I love Peterson and Nevis. Nevis has been nearly unblockable one on one. He's not a real big DT, but his quickness and athleticism is what causing a lot of problems in the interior.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:54 PM ^
tcu and utah is without a doubt the game of the day. Gameday was there and everything...so why is it on a channel i didn't even know existed until today? frustrating.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:36 PM ^
What channel is it on? Seriously, couldn't find it. Which is crazy, for a matchup of 2 top 5 teams at this point in the year. Looks like a disappointment/blowout though, probly wouldn't watch it at this point anyways.
November 6th, 2010 at 7:16 PM ^
it's over now, but it was on the "cbs college" channel (?)
November 6th, 2010 at 5:00 PM ^
Man NW is really taking it to PSU. 21-0 now.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:00 PM ^
On Hawaii's 40 with 22 seconds to go. That's aggressive. Didn't make it, but Hawaii didn't punish them for it. Hawaii just ran it in the line w/ 2 time outs. Hmmm, I'd have tossed it once to see what happens, even though Hawaii hasn't done anything. Halftime. BSU is legit.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:01 PM ^
Where is this Utah/TCU game being shown on the East Coast?
November 6th, 2010 at 5:32 PM ^
CBSCS -- CBS Sports college football. It's on some networks, but I wouldn't worry about it. TCU is up 30-0 and just forced a fumble by punching a ball out of a WR's hands. Could get ugly as a bunch of teams scheme to impress the pollsters.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:06 PM ^
UNC vs FSU another high scoring game. 3 minutes left in the 1st half 28-21 FSU.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:19 PM ^
Just blew a 45-17 fourth quarter lead at 2-6 Kansas. Now trailing 52-45 with under a minute to go.
Don't think the Hawk will make it to next week.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:37 PM ^
The talk was that a buyout was too expensive, and that's what saved him last year. I don't know how a rolling down a year affects the cost. At some point, you figure the dept. just bites the bullet, but as you know times are tough almost everywhere.
November 6th, 2010 at 6:25 PM ^
Man that buyout may be big, but they're going to have to do something to get rid os Hawkins. Maybe some alumni will step in and help the department cover the costs.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:31 PM ^
LSU runs a fake punt to get longest gain from scrimmage all game long. Backs it up with a delay of game. Les is toying with the fans.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:35 PM ^
First time seeing them live. They are destroying Utah.

I get the Veterans day stuff but Utah jerseys are terrible
November 6th, 2010 at 5:36 PM ^
TCU and Boise are making STATEMENTS today!
November 6th, 2010 at 5:42 PM ^
Hypothetical question:
If Auburn and Oregon both stumble and lose a game, and Boise and TCU both run the table, do they play each other for the MNC?
November 6th, 2010 at 5:50 PM ^
I woud think that the pollsters (invidually and for some unconsciously) would focus on whatever 1-loss team looked best in the polls and vote them up enough to put them in the top 2 for the BCS. I'm guessing that would be an SEC team. I don't think they could keep both of them out. Now, if there's no 1-loss SEC team (say the East Division champ wins in an upset) then it could get dicey. IMO, it's hard to put any Big 10 team in the championship as OSU, MSU and Wisky all have bad performances and Iowa has 2 losses.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:44 PM ^
I just saw the score; I assume it's not on TV (not that I'm interested anyway). But, BSU needs Nevada to remain in the top 25 for pollsters. I don't know whether for computer purposes, it's better to have everyone else in your conference even or whether a spread is better or whether it matters. Anyone know?
November 6th, 2010 at 5:49 PM ^
BSU is up 35-0 and is throwing deep with 6-1/2 minutes left in the 3rd qtr. I can't say I blame them, especially as why should they care as they're leaving for the Mtn West.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:56 PM ^
I love RR and want him to stay, but is it wrong of me to want LSU to lose so if we were looking for a coach Les might be out there?
Death Valley is rockin for this close game.
November 6th, 2010 at 6:07 PM ^
it is wrong. LSU would pay us to take him at this point.
November 6th, 2010 at 6:38 PM ^
They might hate him, but after that reverse to take LSU down to take the lead they are beating Bama. I understand why people don't like him, but he is a hell of a coach.
Like I said I want RR to stay. I don't think anyone in the county can coach the offense like he does.
Just my opinion.
Go Blue
November 6th, 2010 at 7:04 PM ^
i think the current opinion of him is that he is NOT a good coach but, rather, an overseer of quality talent. hence the poor clock management, questionable play calling, etc.
Les Miles isn't winning this game, Saban is losing it.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:57 PM ^
gonna be hard to keep the SEC champ out of the game unless they have 2 losses. a one loss oregon or stanford might stay ahead of the undefeated NAQ'ers.
best thing for boise is if Vatech gets it together and wins the ACC. which they just might.
November 6th, 2010 at 6:14 PM ^
That would be a terrible injustice to TCU. They're beating Utah 40-0 right now on the road . If Oregon and Auburn win out, I'll understand, but otherwise it would be a crime.
November 6th, 2010 at 5:58 PM ^
McGloin looking great again. Maybe we weren't alone.
November 6th, 2010 at 6:02 PM ^
I agree, he's really jumpstarted PSU's offense.
November 6th, 2010 at 6:00 PM ^
lighting it up. Several really nice passes, especially the one for a TD to tie it at 21.
November 6th, 2010 at 7:04 PM ^
had a 28 pt lead going into the 4th quarter, lost to Kansas 53-45 in regulation
nm: just saw it above
November 6th, 2010 at 6:34 PM ^
Les Miles. Testicles. That is all.
November 6th, 2010 at 6:42 PM ^
UNC fail. Snapped over the punter's head. He kicks it at the 4 to send it through the endzone thinking that it would be a safety. No, in college that's an illegal kick. Half the distance to the goal, loss of down. FSU gets a first down at the 2. Easily punches it in. The PAT gives FSU the lead with less than 7 to go.
November 6th, 2010 at 6:47 PM ^
Crazy. I didn't know about that rule. I'm not getting a scholarship to know about college kicking though...
November 6th, 2010 at 6:45 PM ^
LSU with a double digit lead on Bama
Good stuff
November 6th, 2010 at 7:01 PM ^
FSU is about to kick for the win. At the 20 with 10 seconds to go down 2. The clock management by both teams in the last 2 minutes were baffling.
November 6th, 2010 at 7:04 PM ^
FSU MISSES THE FG!
