Good to see the Big 10 refs are an equal-opportunity screw-ups.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:18 PM ^
Should we fear Illinois' run D. OSU hasn't really hurt them aside from a couple Pryor scrambles.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:18 PM ^
That last play notwithstanding, when did Lloyd Carr lose weight, become more child-molestery and get hired to coach OSU?
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:22 PM ^
You just now discovered that Jim Tressel is a conservative coach? Where have you been for the last decade?
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:18 PM ^
the passing in this game? Just checking the box score online.
Reminds me of a Family Guy quote:
"Kids kids...you're both just...just awful."
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:18 PM ^
No pressure + no coverage = no upset
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:18 PM ^
Can the announcers stop giving Pryor immense credit for throwing to a wide-open guy? He did absolutely nothing other than throw an easy pass to a WR that had about a 10-yard cushion.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:21 PM ^
It's not that the BTN guys are the worst ever, but the constant drip of idiocy is like Chinese water torture for our ears.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:19 PM ^
weak PI call on Minny, but it was a better play by NW WR to make them call it. got to look at the ball
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:20 PM ^
double post, sorry
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:19 PM ^
have NFL hype? He doesn't have huge numbers ever, but he reminds me of the Mike Jenkins/Santanio Holmes OSU WRs who seem like in any other offense they'd explode.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:21 PM ^
Which makes you wonder, winning aside, why any decent high school football player would want to play in that offense.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:19 PM ^
that's like reading a book...when do we start a pre-game thread.../?...
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:20 PM ^
Tressel will never go for it, but he ought to.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:21 PM ^
A TD here wins the game. But Tressel probably figures Illinois can't score one TD against his defense, so a FG makes them have to score twice to win
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:20 PM ^
OSU going for it? Hmm...
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:21 PM ^
This seems like a silly use of a timeout by OSU.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:22 PM ^
surprised OSU is going for it
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
Looks like they stopped him. Waiting for the spot.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
Wow...color me surprised.
EDIT: looks like a poor spot
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:22 PM ^
He's short!
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:22 PM ^
Didn't get it.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
If OSU gets this, it will be because of a very generous spot.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
If the refs give him the spot I lose all respect for them
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
Respect lost.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:24 PM ^
shit
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:24 PM ^
Well, the good news is that you never had any respect for them in the first place.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:24 PM ^
WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Get 'em Zooker!!
EDIT: The Line judge went out a yard shy of the marker. Complete bullshit.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
OSU has a athletic QB and they don't boot, waggle or anything that gets him to the edge. That is a bad spot!
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
Wow, horrible spot from the Big10 officials. No surprise
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
what a generous spot....you know it's not where he comes to rest after everyone gets up, guys
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:25 PM ^
I don't really see how you could overturn the spot, you can't really tell when his knee hits
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
Even the BTN 1st down line is stupid...
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
Awful spot. Linesman started his run in a yard short, finished on the marker.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:23 PM ^
should Zook challenge?
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:24 PM ^
how did that happen? both refs marked it short after the play and suddenly he has the first down
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:24 PM ^
Horrible spot there. I figured as much, but still, OSU is getting some breaks today (bad facemask call, great spot, playing illinois, etc.).
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:24 PM ^
There you go Zook. Challenge it!
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:24 PM ^
N'western is shooting themselves in the foot.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:25 PM ^
I liked how as the ref was running in from the sideline to make the spot and he clearly moved further downfield instead of running parallel to the lines.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:25 PM ^
The way the refs are trying to give this game to OSU. This is sickening.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:25 PM ^
pretty confident refs won't get this right
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:25 PM ^
ILLINOIS STUFFED HIM!!! look where that first official came running in from!!! lets hope for a miracle...but I bet there is "not enough video evidence"
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:26 PM ^
Can't the linesman running up to mark the ball way short of where it ended up count as evidence?
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:26 PM ^
Bullshit. These refs are screwing Illinois big time.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:26 PM ^
To be honest, I think the spot is correct. His second effort got the first down.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:28 PM ^
My issue with the spot was that his knee was down before he fell forward. It was close, but just looked like a crappy call.
October 2nd, 2010 at 2:31 PM ^
I don't think he was actually down then. I think he was on top of another player.
