It really says more about the attractiveness of the game to the network than anything else and apparently our games are deemed to be as sexy this year as others.   3:30 is where all the percieved "best" non-prime time games are started until late in the season so if we're going off early its because the networks dont view our games as desireable as others the same day.

I went to the last game against Air Force.  It's the only time I remember the big house crowd cheering our opponent during pregame, which kind of makes sense.  (I wasn't around for those 70's games against Navy.)

Not sure that Navy would've gotten a remarkable cheer in the 70s, though I could be wrong. The respectful pro-military (or rather, pro-soldier) mentality that exists today is relatively recent, somewhat burnished in the 90s but especially after 9/11. I'm glad that people appreciate those who serve, but the current mentality didn't used to be the norm.

Yay.  We'll get our stressful and joyless 27-20, eight posession victory out of the way early in the day so that we can enjoy the rest of the games that afternoon and evening.

Then, after the UM victory, I can relax and enjoy the rest of the games. If I have to wait for the UM game, I am too nervous to enjoy the preceding tussles.

Will be a tough game but if a Brady Hoke coached team can beat Air Force I would think this Michigan team should be ok.

Really, I will watch Michigan games regardless of the start time. Having said that, I am much more likely to attend games starting at noon, because it works better for my schedule. That's really just me, but I'm glad, because with noon starts, I'm much more likely to go to the games.

Then we will have some real problems during the 2017 season. The D line should dominate the line of scrimmage. Our O should score some points. I see a 38-24 win.

Last game against Air Force was miserable.  We got the ball 11 times.  Two of them ended the halves.  Two more of them were one play Denard Robinson long TDs.  One more of them was a three downs and punt because we got the ball inside our own five.  Air Force ran 90 plays.  We ran 56.  I think that three of those were end of game kneel downs.  It was just agonizing.
