Also, that basketball contract pissed off Mike Gundy, because he had had more success and a longer tenure than Travis Ford, but the AD wasn't offering him a ten year contract or anything close to it.

At least we have Bill Snyder until he died in a few years. KSU athletic department caught sitting on their hands two years in a row.

In many ways, Illinois' turmoil and loss has been our gain lately. You probably could find some cause-and-effect correlation between our rise to the Big Ten elite and Illinois' demise to the near bottom of it. Our 2012 sweep of them really opened the floodgates to the changing of the power structure in this conference to our benefit as it in part cost Bruce Weber his job
