Lose to worst OSU team in forever at home aggravation thread

Can't say I'm actually aggrieved, as I was resigned to this fate weeks ago. After the Wisconsin game, when lots of people were blaming the loss on officiating (which was absolutely crap, or normal by Big 10 standards), I said every issue we had earlier in conference play was still there, we were just playing harder. The defense never improved, even Indiana shot 55 percent despite getting smoked. We still take terrible shots, which is really disconcerting given that offensive discipline is supposed to be a Beilein hallmark. There's no point in making a change immediately, but it's really no justification for keeping Beilein after the season.

The team has no toughness. No intensity. No heart. The cutest little team you ever did see.

KenPom  has been wrong in projecting a lot of our games this year.

This mandated app is absolute dog shit. I have to click multiple times on a thread and hope it will open. Sometimes have to reload the thread list. God awful. And to not even acknowledge the terrible app when so many are complaining about it is very unprofessional IMO. But I guess that's becoming the MO in other arenas in this country. And I'm pissed we lost to a crap OSU team. And hat eleven warriors has an exponentially better designed website. Rant over.

I feel like an Iowa football fan. Have a coach locked into a long contract, have some nice victories that tease the fan base, and then lose games you should not lose.  In the end you have a nice recipe of mediocrity. 

What happened to the street fight?

And smells like dog shit, it is either dog shit or the Michigan basketball team.

It's like this is the first time anyone's been disappointed by a terrible, listless Michigan basketball team that should be at least marginally better.

who's our daddy?

Start the game and everyone is moving, I think 4 of first 5 baskets were drives to the hoop.  But second half we seemed to have forgotten that completely and EVERYONE except Walton was afraid to do anything with the ball, away from the ball, and near the glass.  How can you have a team where 4 out of 5 guys on the floor are scared at the same time????!!!!!!

Playing poorly, or missing shots is one thing, but to look like this is your first college game is INEXCUSABLE.  I don't know how much you can blame a coach for kids having not heart and no aggression.  This is also freaking against our mortal enemies.  And they come in 3-7 in conference and we are going to ROLL OVER in our own stadium??!!!

Went to school in Ann Arbor kindergarten through college.  Was going to basketball games at Crisler when Johnny Orr was coach.  We've had great teams and not so great teams but man, I've never seen a group of players so unwilling to work hard on the floor.  No words to describe the disappointment...

Shortest memories in all of sports fandom. Same people that wanted Leyland fired. College basketball has a money/AAU/shoe deal problem. Until our athletic department agrees that we are going to play the game then we should be happy with being tournament-ish most years and sometimes not. That's the program ceiling. I'm so sick of this whining. Who would you rather have? Realistic possibilities.

2012-13 may as well have been a century ago. Thanks for the memories, Beilein. A national title appearance and two Big Ten titles are great accomplishments. but this team just is not even remotely close to what it once was. The way in which the program has absolutely tanked and failed to capitalize on any of the Final Four momentum it gained is mind-boggling.

How does this happen. M. Harris, Hardaway Jr, N. Stauskus, C. Levert.....MAAR????? Also Irvin is the worst #1 wing Beilein has had since he has been at Michigan. Mathews and Poole bring hope.

Been a defender of JB for a long time now but last night was inexcusable and I have pushed me over the edge.
