Thank you, Tennessee.
Buford's probably gone as well. They have another top-10 recruiting class coming in, though.
So great to see him sitting on his ass with that incredulous look on his stupid suckeye face.
So long loser!
he deserves credit for what he was able to consistently do to opponents through the season. while reportedly walking off the court without demonstrating good sportsmanship, he could have been way worse IMO.
in the meantime this fanbase can at least show a bit of class and just wave him off to the NBA
The kid is a GREAT player, but true to the standard that has been set at tUoOS, he has little to no class when things don't go his way.
I was not surprised to see him take his ball and go home.

Hilarious how showing class = negbang and proving that you have none = +1.

Blocked the hell out of him.
I enjoyed watching it very much
you might want to clarify that you are saying good-bye to EVAN Turner, an OSU player.
When I first saw this title, I thought something crazy had gone down and J.T. Turner had left the football program.
Scared the sh*t out me, obviously...
done!
My heart rate jumped about 30 bpms before I calmed down and read the post. With M football lately, I feared the worst.
Add another correct check on my bracket and grab me a beer because now i can drink in peace without all these paper OSU fans telling me how "easy" their road to the Final 4 is.
anyone else notice he pulled a lebron and walked right off the court without saying a word or congratulating any tennessee player.
Stole my comment!!!
Did anyone esle notice that Evan Turner left the court without shaking the other teams hands, what a sore loser.
This Week In Schadenfreude = the last 4 seconds of that game
I hope the Week is just starting...
I dunno but did anyone notice Turner ran off the court and didn't shake hands with anyone???? Loser.
I doubt anyone noticed.
... my day.
I wonder if anyone noticed how he ran off the court without shaking hands. Someone should really mention it in this thread.
Just the way he learned it from his coach.
Let me get this straight. You are an immature, rival hating, classless internet poster. He won a BigTen championship, will be the #1 or #2 overall draft pick, sign a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract, buy a huge house, many cars, have sex with many many beautiful women, afford to travel the world, possibly play in the Olympics, etc.
Yep, I guess the joke is on him.

I hope all that can make up for three more years living in a ratty, campus apartment with two other guys drinking Natty on the weekends.
Sucks to be young and really talented.
... I'm absolutely indifferent. I just find it a miserable place to be to have to root against teams. Am I happy they don't have this to gloat about... sure. But no loss by another team will ever even come close to giving me an ounce of joy equivalent to a Michigan victory in any sport.
Here's to hoping for brighter days... starting tomorrow!
What a class act OSU is lol

I am so happy, my B.Arch degree is from UT, and it was great to see tOSU lose and the home team win at the same time!

I feel dirty for pulling for Tennessee. I hope UNI wins so I don't have to do it again.

Thad...
Its OK Wahoo, you pull for the Vols in basketball, and put in a wish or two for the Cavs now and then!

but I also like Evan Turner. The kid doesn't talk trash (hates it when others do) and just goes out there and balls. Sure it sucks he beat Michigan and I seriously almost cried but he also brought a lot of national attention to the Big Ten conference.

That was the SEC OSU was playing - the conference that absolutely, emphatically OWNS THE BUCKS!!!! 0-10 in football for tUOS vs SEC so why any different in hoops.
I really enjoyed writing OWNS THE BUCKS!!!!

I wish Gus Johnson had called this game. It was pretty exciting at the end there and Lundquist could barely muster enough effort to call the game on what seemed like a 5 second delay. Lame.
Looked like there was a lack of class on OSU's part. From what I could tell, Turner didn't even shake hands....he just walked right off the court after the game.
No, I don't think that's right.
Does anyone else think that he carry's the ball excessively every time he is dribbling? I know alot of players do it these days, but the way he does it seems a little ridiculous to me.

Hey man, that's his crab dribble. He learned that move from LeBron, so it's legit. /s
In fact, here's our own Jalen Rose explaining it:
hey
HEY
did anybody see that he (Turner) didn't shake anybody's hand or acknowledge the other team before waltzing off the court?
I think he complained EVERY SINGLE TIME a call didn't go his way. Also he was complaining about the block after the game, apparently he is the only one that didn't realize it was clean.
March 27th, 2010 at 12:41 PM ^
That was an excellent block. I don't know if I'm recalling this correctly, but if Turner had made more contact I think he should've been called for an offensive foul on that. It looked like he was trying to swat the guy away with his other hand while he was shooting and/or intentionally draw contact.

... karma's a bitch!
