I really like him as an analyst, and generally he is one of the better prepared and knowledgable previewing and calling games.  But he struggles to remain unbiased during OSU games and you can hear disappointment in his voice when they struggle.

I don't blame him...I could imagine how horrible I would be calling UM games, but they should really pull him from OSU games.

They tend to favor having alumni announce games. I'm assuming because they'll be the best prepared/most knowledgeable about at least one of the team. It is like how M often has Desmond and Griese announce their games. I guess I'm one of the few that doesn't notice any egreious homerism from Herbie.

Will put this game out of even Bobby Sagers reach. It's a shame because seeing these pricks epically screwed late by an official is what they deserve. O's offense has no prayer of keeping this close into the 4th Meanwhile one last time in 2016 it needs to be said. Jim Delaney go ---- yourself
