Who would you want to see appear at this years "Signing of the Stars"?
I realize that it has not been confirmed that there will be another recruiting event like last years, but if there is one. Who would be at the top of your wish-list to be there?
Mine would include Woodson, Jordan & Jeter........and ofcourse Najee Harris!!

If Kate is going to be there. You might as well have JV there too.

Darnay Holmes, Alex Leatherwood, and Aubrey Solomon would be pretty cool.

I think the mood of the event will be predicated by whether we win the bowl game or not. If we lose, I predict they either won't have it or will do something more subdued. If we are Orange Bowl Champs then I think it makes a nice event to not only celebrate the new student athletes but also to celebrate the previous season.
They could stand to feature fewer "stars" and have each one introduce an entire position group. Last year's event started out pretty cool but after a while got a little long and contrived.
With all the in-state recruits it would be cool to not only get former Wolverines like Woodson but also some current or former Tigers and Lions, and probably former Pistons and Red Wings since their seasons will be going on. Even though they play different sports, get athletes the dozen-plus kids from in-state grew up watching.

Of Bo Schembechler and Gerald Ford (And hell, while we're at it Arthur Miller). Failing that, I'd like to see Justin Verlander and Kate Upton.

Think bigger, people:
President Obama.
NoPolitics and all that, but I think it is safe to say that the then-former POTUS appearing at Signing of the Stars would be national and international news, and would be likely to appeal to recruits (to put it mildly). . .
. . . and yes, I realize this is a pipe dream.

As much as I am not a fan of Obama, I think it would be incredible to get him. The kids would be in awe. It would be a huge get for us if he agreed to do it.

I love how people neg the idea of the man who is, most likely, the most famous person on Earth...helping the football program. There is zero doubt in my mind that having Obama at SOS would be a net positive, and it wouldn't even be remotely close. For every "southern recruit" who doesn't care for him, I'll raise you, umm, 100 recruits from all over the country who would think it is cool as hell.

It's only fair with some of the suggestions you guys are throwing around. Although Tom's wife could bring Tom and that would work also.

His dad is actually a law professor at Michigan, so an appearance by Andrew W. K. wouldn't be so far-fetched.

Or who's that one kid who did all those Youtube videos and chose Michigan vs. Gonzaga in the NCAA tournament finals on Sportscenter the year Michigan went? I love that kid. Probably hit puberty by now and therefore wouldn't be as fun, but I still love that kid. Kid President? I don't know. I forget.

The fax machine. Front and center on a little pedestal with a spotlight, bare stage, intern in an M polo who walks up to pick up a new LOI when it comes in.
No frills. Just football.
