Heh...the thought of OB on tap. Puke. Would rather drink soju.

I am convinced OB is filtered through the dirty jock's of Sumo wrestlers(the fact that they have to import them from Japan makes them extra nasty).
Soju can be quite fun as long as you're not drinking it "ammo bowl" style

seems you can't access the facebook event page unless you have an invitation. but it is still going on.
if anything else you can watch it with the OSU crowd mentioned in the post.

What do you have to join? Some UM alumni in Korea group? I don't see anything like that.
I'm in Seoul. Was maybe going to watch the game at an OSU buddy's place but got no real plans as of now. Upper Deck sounds good, but I can't access the event.

it's not a group page.
it's an invitation for an event which one of the alumnus sent out via facebook. the age range is 25-35 yrs if that makes a difference.
I am currently in the states so won't be going and won't be able to personally invite you to the event but I don't think they would mind you simply joining them (can't say for sure about the drinks and food since they seem to be pooling money for it). it doesn't seem like they booked a room for members only or anything like that. if they did, i don't see any reason why that won't let you sit with them to watch the game.
the organizer did post:
"and please spread words to those not in this group!"
so i assume he literally means anyone not in the group.
if you show up and tell them you're a michigan fan with some michigan gear on (to show you're not just a random straggler) and that you found a post mentioning the event online, i think that'll be more than enough for them to let you join.
if not, shame on them.

Do you know the person organizing this? They're going to have beer and food available? If that's the case, I'd be willing to bring some Dominick's sangria, though I don't want to be responsible for footing the entire bill to make a batch.

It's not a large bar. I've seen some sporting events on there. 2 floors but both floors are quite small. Thanks for all the info. I'll get a hold of the bar and see what they can tell me. I don't really care about food, so I don't see why I wouldn't be able to buy bottles or beer on tap on my own.

based on the replies to the invitations being 15 going and 10 maybes and pictures of similar past game events, I would be surprised if more than 25 show up. even considering it being The Game.
hope you have fun.

Probably no one reading this anymore, but Route 66 will also have the game on.

You going to Route 66? I talked to one of the owners about mixing up Dominick's sangria there and he said sure as long as he knew enough people were coming.
