I broke that story last week. It was major news, surprised you didn't hear about it.

His "Woody" glasses are too big. They don't give the right retro look.
Plus, he's always pushing them back on his face. They don't fit properly.
Time to bench them.

I've heard that Sarah Harbaugh did the benching. Always listen to your better half when it comes to fashion (especially when you get your way with Walmart khakis!!!)

Penn State has the tiebreaker with OSU for head to head. OSU has to win out AND PSU has to lose once in order for OSU to go to the B1G title game. PSU plays Rutgers and MSU to end the year so the chances they lose are slim.
November 14th, 2016 at 12:56 PM ^
What would have happened in a 3 way tie (without the loss to Iowa)?
November 14th, 2016 at 1:03 PM ^
Penn State would have been eliminated due to a worse overall record, then OSU would go due to the head-to-head result with us.
November 14th, 2016 at 1:30 PM ^
Three way tie would go to the highest ranked team in the CFP.
November 14th, 2016 at 2:00 PM ^
Something about overall record or win pct tie breaker rule comes into play before the highest ranked in the CFP rule. So, being that PSU would have 2 losses and the other 2 just one, then it becomes head to head for that scenario. So, if we beat Iowa, then we lost to OSU, OSU would go. NOW, if OSU beats us and PSU wins out, PSU goes.
November 14th, 2016 at 2:09 PM ^
That was the case last year. Big Ten changed the tie breaker rule in the offseason becuase the CFP rankings don't come out until Tuesday which puts everyone at a disadvantage. Now it's overall record instead of CFP rank. And if all three also have same overall record it goes to RANDOM DRAW
November 14th, 2016 at 3:27 PM ^
Beat RANDOM DRAW!!

3 way tie (with each team going 1-1 vs each other) would go to all the way to overall record which eliminates PSU for their loss to Pitt. Then it comes down to head to head Michigan vs OSU. Now that Michigan has a loss to a different B1G opponent either M or OSU will be eliminated in the Shoe and it would be head to head with the remaining 1 loss teams.
November 14th, 2016 at 1:07 PM ^
That is indeed a silver lining....
November 14th, 2016 at 2:01 PM ^
Unintentionally just fucked OSU. Love it!

I agree about that, and probably any logical person would. But would it really surprise you for the comitte to have PSU/WI at 5 or 6 and Clemson down there as well and if they both with the conference championship, have them jump a team that didn't even make it to theirs? Should they? Probably not. But OSU isn't in the SEC and you never know what this comitte will do.

Harbaugh, the ultimate competitor, would never intentionally throw a game. I'm sure getting his QB injured was part of the plan as well.

November 14th, 2016 at 1:29 PM ^
It's not that interesting
November 14th, 2016 at 12:56 PM ^
No way...
But the fact that OSU will likely be denied a B1G CG berth no matter what did soften the blow. The loss didn't hurt our chances at all, other than a Speight injury. So this was... maybe a net positive? Still, I'd take the W instead of the logic any day.

Urban will proceed to piss and moan about being left out of the CFP. His bitching will somehow grant OSU entry to the playoffs where they will win it all because someone hates us.
The truth is we need to hunt and slay this unnamed gypsy that put a hex on everything years ago.
November 14th, 2016 at 1:18 PM ^
Urban can go shit in a cooler and then dunk his head in it.

I was about to rip you until reading your last sentence.
LET'S JUST BEAT OHIO STATE, PLEASE. I am so sick of seeing their beating Michigan.

Ohio State is #2 in the polls. They will probably be #2 in the CFP rankings. Let that rattle around in there for a little bit.
November 14th, 2016 at 1:24 PM ^
They will for now but probably get passed by conference champs if they are not playing a game that week?
November 14th, 2016 at 1:29 PM ^
Sure...Maybe. And don't you think that might be a motivating factor for OSU to hammer the #4 team in the country in their last showing of the year?
Again, let that rattle around. His theory is Harbaugh threw the game (eyeroll) to give Ohio State LESS motivation in The Game. Can you think of any reason why Ohio State might still be motivated to kick the piss out of Michigan?
Any at all?

I'm not so sure that would be the committee's decision in that scenario, but it would be interesting. Wisky was #7 last week. Under the scenario, they would certainly pass Michigan and would have beaten a highly ranked PSU in the B1G CG.

in your conspiracy ointment...Olieo has everything to play for a Playoff berth trumps a Big Title at this point..Win and there In

Everyone would. Unless the gameplan is to just run nothing but Morris sweeps...well no, I'm sure we would still vote for O'Korn then too.
November 14th, 2016 at 1:15 PM ^
This is pretty funny about OSU. They manage to lose two games in two years that totally knock them out of contenion for the Big Ten Championship Game.
