I feel old having immediately thought of the classic song before the, ahem, less than classic movie. Good movie, funny as hell, but not a classic like the song is.

10/10 was definitely recorded with a karaoke machine version of the song. The words were written decently but that voice was difficult. I can only hope it was alcohol induced tone-deafness.

Hi everyone, this is tejinator of this parody song. I am a long time lurker of this board and this is my first time posting. I intended this to be on /r/CFB Trash Talk Thursday and it had gotten some serious recognition on that site. Never thought it would hit my favorite Michigan sports website!

 

First off, thanks for the words of encouragement. It was fun to make this parody song and I didn't have that much time to finish the enire 8 minute song but I liked where this thread has taken it.

 

Second off, yes I am very aware my singing is awful. I am very sorry for those whose ears were bleeding. I get it, I don't sing well. My reasoning for singing was for extra karma on reddit and I tried my best. I listened to what I recorded and I am aware my own singing sucks (plus Don Mclean is ridiculously good). However, I really didn't have time in my schedule to ask around for better singers, so I had to use what I had. I did not intend it to get this popular. michiganfanforlife on mgoblog did an excellent version of it and has more singing skills than me.
