When 4-3-4 sets: Taco, Glasgow, Wormley, Gary Peppers, Gedeon, McCray Lewis, Hill, Clark, Stribling When 3-3-5 sets: Gary, Glasgow, Wormley Peppers, Gedeon, McCray Lewis, Hill, Clark, Thomas, Stribling Plus more time for Thomas on special teams. Clark plays a lot - both at CB and FS. TK is killer on special teams so I think he stays put there unless really needed. Say goodbye to big play gives from this D and look for some goose eggs on the board!

Harbaugh and Brown won't be married to scheme, just results.  Will depend on style of offense (spread or pro), size of recievers, blitz packages, etc.  Both Strib and Clark will be playing a bunch and both will look much better with Lewis locking down the slot or 1v1 on the outside against an opponent with an elite outside reciever.

I don't think it matters too much.  The biggest difference will be against spread formations when all three guys are on the field because it allows the safeties to not be covering a quick WR.  It hasn't been Strib or Clark that have gotten beat.  It's been almost exclusively the safeties trying to cover guys they're not used to covering due to a numbers crunch.

This will help in so many ways. Everyone will be able to take a play or two off when needed, Peppers can spend more time on offense if that's what Harbaugh wants. It's easy to forget how dominant Lewis can be.

Awesome news!! On another note I've been extremely disappointed with dymonte Thomas play this year so far. He was my breakout player, but maybe JD back will allow him less coverage and more playing down hill

He got up gimpy on one of the early plays and seemed a step slow all game after that. He had the one biff against UCF, but he was otherwise okay. Hopefully with a bit of rest, he gets that step back. That said, getting locked up one on one with a shifty slot receiver has never been his game. This is why getting Lewis back is so important.

I'd LOVE to have Clark at FS...allows us to flex and matchup without showing our coverage. Send a guy in motion and Clark can rotate onto him and you still don't know if we're man or zone.

Thomas has struggled a little this year.

More than anything, Lewis is back. He was the best player on defense last year...sorry Peppers and Glasgow got hurt.

We're about to fuck shit up.
