Detroit News B1G Football Primer
There are several UM players mentioned in the primer. None of which are a surprise to those that follow the Wolverines. However, you get a closer look at how some of the other teams stack up. One team that stood out, Indiana has a top 3 OL, RB, and a rising WR. No mention of Prudue or Illinois, other than bad news of course.

I was a little surprised Cole was absent too, but it's an opinion piece. So, I am sure that opinion will change from media outlet to outlet.

Add to that, Cole is being moved to a position he's never played before.
Thanks for looking that up.

Is it wrong that I'm hoping that we beat OSU due to a late game mike weber fumble? Is that too petty?
Although I'm hoping for him to have one of those 20 carries for negative 20 yards type days. And then after the blowout, Urban Meyer announces he is resigning due to "health" issues. This would make me really happy.

This statement is insulting to the Kansas Jayhawks.
Kansas? Does Kansas really rival Purdue for worst P5 team? Isn't Purdue 3-30 over the last three years, or something like that?
IU Football hasn't been relevant since JFK was in office.

Not behind that offensive line.
Unless they really ramped up the HGH program this past winter.

The Naval Academy does not run the spread. Never have, never will. They use the Flexbone, read option, wishbone. 5 OL, QB, 3 RB's, 2 WR's or a TE and a WR.
Started by Paul Johnson several years ago, before Georgia Tech gave him a pay raise.
Triple Option is the ultimate equalizer in college football, not the spread. The Triple Option made the service academies, New Mexico, and Georgia Southern relevant (which I define as bowl elgible)

How does a guy who is 3-30 vs. FBS teams keep his job? Money talks, apparently. According to the Indianapolis Star, Purdue saves $2.1 million if it waits until Dec. 1, 2016 to fire Hazel, who is 2-22 in the Big Ten. So check back for Hazell’s status on Dec. 2.
Well, I mean, Purdue put an ad in the West Lafayette paper and got two replies, one from a guy who died the day before the interview, so you take what you can get, I guess.
Savings goal met.
I think Indiana will take a step backward, even with their (relatively unproven) talent on offense and excellent offensive coaching. Hard to imagine the new guy is on Sudfeld's level.
On the other hand, Indiana will still be dangerous this year, and they're right between Iowa and OSU on our schedule - pretty much the definition of a trap game, if you believe in that sort of thing.
I look for a Michigan blow out, may be 42-10, or hell even a shutout.
Received it as a birthday gift from my sophomore UM son.
Great content, real previews on all BIG teams. Worth the $15 and you help support Mgoblog. Surprized by the additional content to that of the blog.
