Well that was stressful and unnecessary but I'll take it and we all deserve points for that.

Duncan is a phenomenal shooter when open....particularly in the corners.  He has tapered off dramatically and has issues even getting a shot off lately.  He's 14-36 in the last 5 games and hasn't attemnpted a free throw.

Duncan stat line:  11,5 ppg  47.6% and 47% 3pt   in 28 mpg

Aubrey stat line:  7.5 ppg on 53% and 45% 3pt   in 17 mpg.

Aubrey gives us a high level athlete and a different dimension.  It's always nice to have a leaper on the floor and he minimally as good a defender as Duncan.  I think it's time to make this happen.

Whew that was a little close, but hey, they got the win. One more regular season win, and a BTT win would definitely get us in the dance!

It was a good win, albeit a bit dicey at points. Actually, the first half had me rather jittery quite honestly. We definitely needed the boost though and I, for one, am hoping that they take some momentum into the Wisconsin game.

Pretty hopeful at this point that a split of the next two plus a showing in the BTT get us in the tournament, and if that happens, well, anything can happen in the tournament sometimes. I am definitely all for that.

Good to get that win, even if ugly. I'd like to see more Aubrey Dawkins and MAAR on the floor together and less Zach Irvin. Those two are much more athletic and seem to lead more by example. Dawkins can jump to the rafters!
