MGoRadio 1.3: Ridiculously Fun Blowouts
1 hour 35 minutes
[Eric Upchurch]
Also a big thanks to our sponsors. The show is presented by UGP & Moe's and frankly would not be happening without them; Rishi and company have been on board here from almost the beginning. Shopping with them helps us and supports good dudes.
Our other sponsors are also key in the expanding empire: thanks to Homesure Lending, Draft Kings, Ann Arbor Elder Law, Liz Crowe, and TiqIQ.
BYU Recap
Fan-dang-tastic defense from top to bottom and Rudock progress on offense, plus the two wow experience plays. Not bad overall.
Gimmicky Top Five List: Most Ridiculously Fun Blowouts
I thought this might have a significant amount of overlap and it did, but we fill in some just-missed and get in shots at NFL reporters all the same.
247's Steve Lorenz
We might talk a bit about Rashan Gary with Steve Lorenz of 247. Also Carlo Kemp, the 2017 in-state class, and general team stuff.
Catch us Mondays 5-7 on 1050 WTKA.

Love all the podcast content. In comparison, today's "The Michigan Man Podcast" was just 23 minutes long and featured an interview with the Freep's Mark Snyder, who wouldn't back off his 7-5 prediction for the season after mentioning how tired BYU must have been from playing three tough opponents in a row coming in. *Rolls eyes*

i love how many times i have heard that about byu since the game ended. never a word about that being a possibility before the game when they were everyones darlings. all the byu outlets i saw before the game not one had michigan winning, in fact this was going to be the easiest game for byu because they were battle tested.

I mean, by the 8th or 9th game of the season, they'll be so tired they shouldn't even take the field.

Actually there was a fair amount of discussion about that here before the game. Many thought we were catching them at a good time. Of course, I don't know if that explains 105 yards of offense and zero red zone trips.

I laughed for a good ten minutes yesterday at Barney music leading in the segment at 1:09:12.
Toddlerhood classic.

First Caller was funny and likes to talkkkkkk..... - "Jamil Peppers is Jamil Peppers"? "Channing Stribling never saw the light of day? Special teams"
Guess he had lots of coffee.

He's probably blocking out the PSU Allen Robinson demolition from his memory.

Best stop hating, Ace. Never know when the mean streets of A2 will catch up to you.

The QB for Penn State in 97 wasn't Kerry Collins, it was Mike McQueary.

Love the audio content. It definitely helps make the work days go by faster.
One constructive criticism is that you limit the amount your let callers talk. A few of them seem to have had a tendency to ramble. I'd rather have more questions asked and answered (hear from you guys) than callers enjoying hearing the sound of their own voice on the radio.

Callers are the worst part of every radio show, just skip 'em altogether.
