Not including PSU/Temple, no reason to watch that game with these three 3:30 matchups.

Left the ND/Texas and Wisconsin/Bama games for the "Night Games" thread.

As I semi-state below, Josh Rosen has looked incredible. His throws are placed such that only his receivers can catch it. His TD to Duarte in the 2nd quarter was perfect and his incompletions seem to be either drops or balls caught out of bounds that are still wonderfully thrown. That being said, UCLA is only up 8 as Virginia has moved the ball very well and controlled possession but cannot convert to touchdowns. The accuracy by Rosen is so hard to see considering Thursday.

Dont count out ASU unless they lose today. That division is brutal.  I dont think any team will come out of there due to them beating each other up.   You have ASU and Zona and Utah and USC and UCLA.  Any of those teams can beat the other at home.

I think it will be tough for anyone to escape the Pac-12 South. UCLA could not beat Oregon or Stanford, but were the only team to beat ASU at ASU, and beat a very strong Arizona team. They all beat each other up so much. USC/UCLA will be a great game, but I will be surprised if it has real playoff implications as both may likely have 2+ losses.

It seems to me that everywhere I turn, shools have a young and talented quarterback, Whether the man is a runner, a thrower, or both, each team seems to have one. Except Michigan. Watching Josh Rosen just makes me wish that Michigan could have had Shane Morris look this good at some point. The throws are on point and the incompletions are even impressive. Yet here we are relying on a grad transfer that threw 2 fewer interceptions this week than he did all of last year. It hurts. Brandon Peters? Let us hope so.

It was ONE bad game. And 6 REALLY bad passes out of 40!

QBs have disaster games, let's get a slightly larger sample size...jeez.

Rudock played one TERRIBLE game and already has better stats at Michigan than Morris in his two starts. One of which was possibly the worst in Michigan history.

Can we please let Rudock get through the nonconference before we act like he's the worst QB in the league? Please? Pretty please? Sugar on top?

You must have missed the spring game when Malzone looked like a HS QB.  Gentry meanwhile has been on campus 7 weeks.

rudock will be fine and boring most weeks. I have no idea who that guy was Thursday - as Brian said it was like he wasted this summer looking at rudock's 2014 games after that display.

The point that I am looking to make is that each top-tier football program seems to bring in exceptional qb talent. I would consider Michigan the only truly successful program of those that you mentioned above (even if they have not been recently). I am just frustrated at the lack of development that I have seen in Michigan QBs.

I am too. I mean we did have Denard and Texas and ND haven't had much as of late either (although ND seems to have it in Zaire this year).

Not making excuses...Michigan's QB play has been awful and we haven't had consistency at that position since Henne.

But that's also when we had an OL and a running game as well. He also had Arrington and Manningham and Mathews as his 3rd WR.

So it wasn't just the QB.

I think we isolate positions too much...our offense has been ASS outside of Rich Rod in the warmer months and non-conference opponents.

I am especially excited to see these new recruiting classes of OL develop. Part of what is making Rosen look so good and what matters so much is the experience and ability of an O-line. To what you said earlier, there is no need to give up entirely on Rudock. Thursday night I certainly wanted to, but now that I have calmed down, I look forward to seeing how these next few weeks go as we prepare for conference play.

17 rushing attempts for 37 yards and a 2.2 YPC average is very un-Husker.

To be fair, 13 of 27 for 201 passing yards and 2 TDs is very un-Taylor Martinez, if anyone remembers those performances. Tommy Armstrong is doing quite well so far really, especially when he can find Alonzo Moore.

Of course, that doesn't speak to Nebraska still being down 10 at halftime.
