Watching Gameday got me reminiscing about things past. File this under "Whatever happened to ..."

San Jose State is where Borges, GERG and Dan Ferrigno landed.

They dispatched New Hampshire fairly handily ... 43-13. 707 total yards offense to 186, 422 yards passing coupled with 285 yards rushing.

Everyone eventually finds their level. Good for all of them.

I thought that Fowler on Game Day was as good as any other sportscaster there was. I don't mind Davis. I know two people who are on the inside at ESPN/ABC and they both say that Rece David is unequivocally the nicest guy in all of sports media. Everyone who knows him is happy for him.

He's doing a fantastic job and he'll continue to do so...

The issue is replacing DAVIS on the other shows...that's where ESPN is hurting.

Davis and Fowler were all they had. They are both extremely talented at what they do...ESPN's got nothing behind them and it shows with the college football lives and the weekday shows.
