Another day, another way to get excited about the coming season under Harbaugh:

n less than six months, he has taken a program left for dead after last season and raised expectations even he can’t reach. Or can he?

In Harbaugh’s first season at Stanford, he took a team that won a single game the previous year and beat college football king USC in Los Angeles with a walkon quarterback. As a 40-point underdog.

The buzz, the sheer anticipation, is palpable.

If you don’t think recruits are buying what he’s selling, if you don’t think this new social media superstar isn’t making recruiting inroads all over the country, stick your head in the sand and keep talking about satellite camps.

Because with every tweet, with every picture of a shirtless, 50-something acting 20-something, Jim Harbaugh is winning.

And he hasn’t even coached a down.

With all his celebrity, sometimes I forget about his coaching skills.  He coached a horrible Stanford team to the biggest upset in college football history (on the road) in his first year (and a big improvement on the previous season).  There is some serious upside this year.....

All kidding aside, I think this season will reveal that there is actually some pretty good talent on this UM football team. Those close wins will turn into 2-3 TD wins, the close losses will be wins, and the poundings will cease, possibly even turn into narrow victories for the good guys.

If you watch the video on YouTube about this game, Stanford players started realizing around the second quarter, they were capable of imposing their will on USC.

I've not seen that anywhere else except in reference to him. I did see one article that said the unoffical line was 33, but there were no offical lines since Vegas avoided them because the mismatches made the predictions too difficult. Also, I didn't think any game Harbaugh coached and won could be an upset because, HARBAUGH.
