Spring Practice Report #5 (mgovideo) SIAP
Didn't see this posted yet here. Link to the latest practice update. For you Karsch fans he is back hosting this one. Blake Countess with the pull quote in regards to the Harbaugh brothers battling on Amelia Island.
Also has anyone found a way to embed the mgovideo player? I don't mind clicking through but I know some people prefer it right in the post here.

for those of you who use Facebook, follow MGoVideo and the clips will be there too. I usually see them there before this blog
I agree with the Strongest Man in the World. Thanks for posting, OP, and keep on contributing!
Save for a few select videos, MGoVideo generally doesn't permit embeds, at least not in my experience - I believe it has to do with the licensed nature of MGoBlue's content as well as probably wanting the traffic to some extent. This stuff used to simply get dumped to YouTube, and then for a time Vimeo, but as I recall (and I could be mistaken) some issues with making this content available in that fashion arose.

Thanks for the info, I don't mind clicking through to it myself but I know some posters prefer the embed style.
Edit: sorry this was supposed to go to LSAClassof2000

Are you talking about mgovideo or mgoblue?
For me at least, mgovideo's videos have worked without complaints. I can't say the same for the pos player that mgoblue uses.

needs some work on pad-level, but he sure is elusive!
Kerridge was a pretty good fullback, but wasn't used enough. Only a few clips this spring and I swear I've seen him pancake like three dudes already. Looking forward to the Kerridge Harbaughning.

Yeah, I've been waiting to see him break out but here he is, already now a Senior, damn. We always heard that he was a tough, hard nosed player but for some reason, he never seen much time with Hoke. This could be the year and role we've expected to see out of him.

He had the lions share of snaps at FB under Borges, we didn't see him much last year because we didn't see any FBs much under the Nuss system.
I guess you're right but for some reason there didn't feel like there was much of a FB presence on the team, even with Borges as the OC. Maybe that had a lot to do with O line struggles, I'm not sure. It just seemed that with Kerridge and Houma on the roster that they had valuable resources that were not being used correctly or enough. Although, a lot of things didn't end up making sense under Hoke.
That is indeed a large human being; not sure if Ross will be knocking him on his ass anytime soon. LTT looking good also.

That isn't Mario standing in the white "all in for the fight" tshirt, during Johns talk, is it?

I'm pretty sure that was Luigi.

I think this is the second or third time I've seen the 'Oklahoma' drill in these spring practice videos. I like it. I like it a lot! The 'Oklahoma' will expose you if you're not at your best. Not to harp on Hoke, but he only seemed to bring it out on certain limited occasions. Run it every day, I say.
Yes, I understand it might be the same drill run once being aired two or three times. Yes, I know Michigan probably calls the drill by another name. Yes, it's way too early to tell anything. Yes, Hoke is gone and we need to move on. Did I get everything?

It's a good fire 'em up drill, but isn't all that relevant to football. The defenders are attacking a gap between two blockers in most cases, not going heads up against a guy like this and having to defend the RB going to either side of the blocker.
I cannot disagree with you more. Of course drills and games are different, unless we're going to see Jugs guns, tackling dummies, and black fences over the offensive linemen's heads reminding them to stay low on Saturday afternoons, but the Oklahoma drill more than any other DRILL in my opinion mimics skills and techniques and the required toughness used on gameday.
Braden and Tulley-Tillman both look really good and in shape at the end.
