first time seeing him in a Michigan hat. I think you should have specified the first REAL time.

You go WD. Some of us appreciate the way you attack everything Michigan with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind.
February 18th, 2015 at 12:16 AM ^
This is, like, the most threadworthy item of the whole day, aside from the basketball game. +1 to you, WD.
February 18th, 2015 at 12:21 AM ^
BULLSHIT.
While WD's thread is good there was a thread earlier today, a most brilliiant thread I might add, that posted a comedian's take on Kyle Shanahan's legendary powerpoint to Cleveland Browns managment. The OP in that thread truly wove a tapestry of magic with his words and while it might not be the single greatest post in the history of the board it's certainly in the conversation that's for sure. It was breathtaking.

Your obsession is good (even if it is over the Browns).

"So you think you're threadworthy? Run down your case for me again."
February 18th, 2015 at 5:56 AM ^
We have multiple "What are you drinking" threads every week full of humblebragging about what awesomely obscure artisanal microbrew from Vermont or California somebody is drinking, but you choose to make this comment about somebody posting a photo of our new coach in a Michigan hat.
February 18th, 2015 at 5:59 AM ^
WD is to posting a new thread every 8 hours as the bus in Speed was to driving below 50 mph.

If it takes more than 3 words and/or 4 syllables to pronounce the libation you're imbibing, you might be a pretentious windbag.
Busch light.
Captain and Coke.
Miller lite.
Budweiser.
Labbatt Blue.
Molsen Canadian. This one has more than 4 syllables but is OK since it only has 2 words.

You might be a redneck...is that how the joke goes?
February 18th, 2015 at 12:30 PM ^
Now let's don't get all crazy and stuff. Lite beer is pisswater.
I like the pretentious artisanal microbrews as much as anybody—hey, I love Heady Topper!—but reading the drinking threads sometimes reminds me of all the kids I knew growing up in Grosse Pointe discussing their stereo equipment or sports cars or skiing destinations.

Point, Harbaugh.

It's still a bit surreal. A part of me sees this photo and thinks "oh look, Jim Harbaugh dressed up as himself coaching Michigan for Halloween."
February 18th, 2015 at 12:49 AM ^
I'm just wondering why it took 6 weeks for Adidas to install a zipper on the back of their Harbaugh costume.

This is it! It's his uni for some upcoming epic sideline tantrums and rants. It's his uni for his upcoming snub of Dantonio and his thumbing his nose at Urban Meyer.
Gaze upon it's glory while it's standing still enough to see it with the naked eye.

Need to get that man a New Era 5950 "M" hat.
February 18th, 2015 at 8:43 AM ^
February 18th, 2015 at 9:47 AM ^
That hat is awesome. The block M is a little thinner, similar to Bo's. Also, you know that you can manually bend the brim of the hat, right?
February 18th, 2015 at 10:06 AM ^
Flat brimmed hats suck. I have never worn one and never will. Maybe it was growing playing ball in the 70s and 80s, but the bill of a proper baseball hat is highly curved. Frequently broken in by wrapping the bill around a baseball.
The string of New Era 5950s that I have owned dating back to high school definitely not flat brimmed. And its the same hat that Bo wore. Maybe people just don't break in their hats any longer?
And the 5950 has been the official hat of MLB since 1994, I think what you are referring to is a change to kid wearing the hat too large and not breaking it in.

wear New Era caps. IMHO they look a lot better than teh ones that Adidas throws out there.

I certain you're correct. But I'm not a fan of their hats.
February 18th, 2015 at 12:16 PM ^
I work at an adidas school. Their hats are better now than a few years ago. My baseball cap for this season is the best I've ever received.
