Michigan offers Eric Cuffee and Marquel Dismuke
Now that the class of 2015 all but completely official, it's time for some news on the current class.
2016.
Harbaugh does not sleep. In addition to picking up 5 commits for 2015 in the last 24 hours, Michigan has also offered some 2016 guys today.
Per Magnus' site TTB-

#Michigan offers Texas CB Eric Cuffee - Touch the Banner: 2016 Offer Board http://t.co/veXOEr2OUg

Cuffee is a 3 star CB from Waco, Texas. He does hold a Baylor offer so I assume they are going to be a finalist for him.
Dismuke is a 4 star Safety from Compton. His other 5 offers are from Arizona State, Cal, Colorado State, Mississippi State and San Diego State.
Dismuke is 6'2. I'm liking the recruiting of tall DBs.

Very nice.
He doesn't get sick. He doesn't observe major holidays. He is a jackhammer.

Thankfully for his sake it wasn't too late. What an incredibly shitty thing to do to these kids.

I did some searching as to what those changes were.
A commenter on the 247 Georgia board said that the UCLA defensive coordinator may be taking a new job with the Falcons, and did not disclose that to Smith.
Of course, the Georgia board thinks Roquan is there for the 'Dawgs taking.
If someone knows more, please elaborate/confirm/correct.

I'm assuming it will be a 25+ class with normal attrition. Under or over?
February 4th, 2015 at 4:44 PM ^
about 18-20 spots probably, 2017 will be a big class.
February 4th, 2015 at 5:25 PM ^
Right now 14 spots. With spring attrition and 5th year transfers (a lot of 5th year guys a year from now will have barely played) I expect it to be 20ish.

in regard to the number of schollies but from my amatuer arm chair in observing other schools' numbers every year we should be entitled to about 43 schollies for the next 7 years. Seriously, how in the fuck do we always have 17-21 while other schools sign 28d+ every single fuckning year.
February 4th, 2015 at 8:14 PM ^
same - no doubt there will be a spike in attrition

I'm digging the tall DB's too, very much needed in today's game!

I thought these were last-minute 2015 guys.

I love how Michigan is going after anyone all over the country! National recruiting again sounds fun.
February 4th, 2015 at 5:06 PM ^
they had to sign today?
February 4th, 2015 at 5:13 PM ^
and Harbaugh is one of the few qualified to sign the latter
February 4th, 2015 at 5:14 PM ^
First day of 2015 they can sign. Not the only day.
February 4th, 2015 at 5:16 PM ^
No, 2015 guys don't have to sign today. Not sure what the deadline is, but they all want to be part of the hype. You also don't want your spot to be taken by another guy. Coaches are careful about that, but it is a concern with nearly everyone signing today.
Edit: Oh, I reread your statement. Eric Cuffee and Marquel Dismuke are 2016 guys not 2015.

With Cole being a WR we might do 2 Ss and 4 CBs in the 2016 class or 3 S and 3 CB. A lot of offers have been to CBs and Ss already. Massive area of need for 2017 team.

Roquan Smith Decides Not to Accept Offer From "Michigan University " says CBS Detroit.
It is not known who created the signs at his signing desk but reliable sources believe it was 58% Ohio State and 42% MSU

We REALLY need defensive backs in the 2016 class. I think the point is for the coaches to extend these offers early and develop relationships early so they don't have the same situation next year that they had this year. Obviously, being college coaches for the full cycle will help, but it's arguably the biggest position of need for next year, so they're hitting it hard right now.

Michigan has offered at least 13 corners and 7 safeties already in this cycle.
