/claiming flopping is only in soccer //NBA is nothing but flops ///every NFL WR taught to get up begging for PI flag & kicker doing a somersault when defense brushes air on his foot. Yeah, soccer is the only sport full of flopping

What happened to the kid (he has to be a kid to not understand what the LIons do in big games) who assured us we would win 28-10 because the Lions are a 2nd half team?

Maybe this is the draft the lions finally draft some f'n OL help.  Same year same OL that can't do squat. The interior OL of this team needs a drastic makeover.

If the Lions in fact pull this out, it is an interesting reversal of the historic trend where they would get out to this nice start sometimes and then die off in the 2nd half. Now, we seem to come out of the gate dead and then find ways to come to life.

Also, great way by Tate to make a play out of something that nearly nothing before the end of the quarter.

Dear god....please get rid of Joe Lombardi at the end of the season. Guy has killed this offense this year. Completely and utterly killed it.

I can tell the age of posters based on their comments in this thread. The younger you are the more optimistic you are about the game and the older you are the more your comments reflect the grim reality that you've seen this from the Lions, countless times, throughout the years and aren't surprised by what's happening in the least.

or could the older posters just be so jaded that they are unable to objectively evaluate the lions performance? it's been a good year, and this is a tough division road game in poor weather conditions. they might just pull this one out too.

The Lions have struggled mightily with bad teams the entire season. They have repeatedly have made gaffes on special teams and offense. They have been undisciplined. In short, they have performed like they did under Schwartz. Anyone who watched the Lions last year and this year will know this. The Lions are the same as they have always been.

The Lions may win, but it never should have been this tough. The lack of coaching is readily apparent because a well-coached team doesn't have repeatedly bad outings like the Lions have had this season.

The Lions are a fraud. Four of their wins were come-from-behind wins. The Falcons game was a miracle win and the Saints gave them the win by stop playing.

This team looks just like the 11' team. Jim Caldwell hasn't changed a damn thing. If not for Teryl Austin this team would have won 5 games.

The Lions are sub-standard at two of the three areas of a football team. That is on Caldwell and Mayhew for hiring these guys.
