These Idiots are helping the cause.

My analogy is that my father has to quit work due to health issues at the prime of my career. He and mom are both decining and need me to come home and help them.

Then, a company close to their home offers me a 50% salary hike. What luck! I can honor my family AND get a lifestyle uptick. The gods are my friends!

Then, some idiots at my present job say I should let my parents fend for themselves because this is my life and I shouldn't have to cater to the needs of my parents. Then they lecture me on money not being everything.

I wouldn't even respond.

The NFL has turned into a sad cult for old dudes, and it's disappointing.  The whole Goddell "protect the shield" mantra has trickled down so far that grown ass men are willing to lick the teat of anything remotely related to the "National Football League."

NFL has no-tampering rules where a team can't negotiate w/ another team's coach.

Yet... the NFL itself can encourage SF's coach to go to Oakland?  While he's still SF's coach?

And on top of that -- the Dolphins and Jets and Bears and Falcons don't get a say in that?

WHAT AM I MISSING???  I mean, you can't just say it's some guy's opinion.  He's not a journalist or independent source.  He's on the NFL'S OWN EFFING WEBSITE.

First of all, Davis would have to make Harbaugh a $12 million offer in order to compete with Michigan's current offer because of where they reside,

The Raiders are an NFL pit of doom and I hate the fact that Charles Woodson opted to put himself in it. But are you saying that Harbaugh is going to Oakland to turn into a SB contender bedause it has Derek Carr and a potential high draft pick?

Hearbaugh enhances his career at Michigan just by coming to Ann Arbor. It s a perfect fit, and the the author acknowledges it. To me, he spends an inordinant amount of space trying to convince a captive audience to stay put without any conviciton. You have to go to a dungeon franchise on the prowl to possibly move because Raiders, and this is also the last place in northern Califofrnia whefre Harbaugh hasn't coached.

Man I hope I'm wrong, I just have a horrible feeling that Jim is more interested in coaching at the highest level and it is no offense to UM. I'm setting myself up so that I'm not too pissed/disappointed.

No matter how successful you are. JH took the to the Super Bowl and two years later, they don't want him. The Michigan job is worth over 100 million honestly. He will make 8 or more a year and can keep on doing so as long as he wants. He won't ever get that in the Not For Long!

Say what you want about Michigan football's bathing in a lake of fire.........but the Oakland Raiders?

Piles of NFL dough and Harbaugh's competitive nature? That's it?

This is the same NFL team that has a consistent track record for imbibing new coaches, grinding them down into a chymey bolus, and then spitting them out after 2 or 3 years.

Can't ruled it out, but why put yourself and your family through that kind of horseshit, when you can be a living legend much easier in Ann Arbor?

I have never seen a coaching search of any kind, be so Polarizing in the media.  For whatever reason, all of these so-called "experts" are weighing in with their opinions...what they heard...things they "know" blah blah blah.

Why?  Clickbait... getting clicks and revenues, is really the only reason for it that I can see...that and the Ego factor of being 'in the know'.

I think it's hilarious that Adam Schein thinks anyone should care about what Adam Schein thinks is someone else's best road to happiness.  Even I'm not that arrogant.

What I don't quite understand is if if these nfl guys are so convinced harbaugh is staying in the nfl, why wouldn't Jim just shoot us down now or last week? The fact that we haven't heard is a great sign.

These writers who are defending the cartel are starting to get on my last nerve. So, I have a question for the Roger Goodell "butt boys" -- you say that Harbaugh's desire to win a Super Bowl will keep him from taking the Michigan job.  Do you seriously think the Oakland Raiders are going to win a Super Bowl within the next four years?  Or the Jets?  Or the Dolphins?  Or the Bears?   If you do, I'll have some of what you're having!!
